Our charming apartment boasts an ideal location in the heart of the city, right at the corner of the 5th District. It offers a cozy and elegant atmosphere, tastefully decorated to provide all the comforts you desire during your stay in Budapest. Originally built in 1910 in the Art Nouveau style, the building underwent renovations in 2019-2020, enhancing its appeal. Enjoy a bright and tranquil retreat in this delightful flat!

76 sqm, has 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with dining area, 2 bathrooms, and 1 fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher), air-conditioning.

Bedroom 1 - 2 double beds (one of them is a guest bed which can be used as single, or double when pulled out)

Living room + dining room - sofa, armchairs, free WIFI, TV and lots of good DVD's to watch.
Bathroom - bath tub, wash basin, hair dryer
Shower - Shower cabin, wash basin

Kitchen - fully equipped, microwave, coffee machine, dish washer, washing machine, etc...

The apartment is very quiet and bright as it is on the top floor. 3rd floor. No lift in building.
Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, Café's are only 1 minutes away on Mikszáth Kálmán tér. Kelvin square where the Official Airport Bus stops is only 3 minutes walk from our house.

LOCATION:
The Palace Quarter (not to be confused with the Castle District) is a historic area where Hungarian aristocratic families began constructing palaces around the National Museum in the 19th century. Many of these magnificent buildings remain, with some transformed into residential flats. Our building is conveniently located just behind the National Museum. For your convenience, secure parking is available in a deep garage just one minute from the apartment, and it's the most affordable deep garage option in Budapest. (15-17 Euro/24h)
Closest metro station - 3 minutes walk - Kalvin ter (blue line) - this is also where the Airport Bus stops.
Trams no. 47, 49 and no. 4, 6 are 2 minutes walk away.
Flat is on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator.

Fantastic and spacious apartment. Enjoyed our stay here very much. Host was excellent. Only concern is that there is no elevator, so may not be a good fit for anyone with mobility issues since apartment is on the top floor.

Wonderful apartment in great location!

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay in Budapest at this wonderful apartment. The decor is charming. It was comfortable and very clean. Communication with Sophie was easy. The location was perfect. The apartment itself was very quiet and we slept wonderfully; however it is within walking distance or easy public transportation to all important sights and many nice restaurants and bars.

Wonderful experience

This was our first time in Budapest. The property was exactly as expected. The host was amazing! She communicated frequently before travel, and was responsive to anything we needed once we arrived. She really went out of her way to make us comfortable. We arrived a couple hours before check in time, and she offered for us to drop off our luggage while she cleaned before our stay and we explored uninhibited. She also provided us with some recommendations for meals nearby. The area is close to everything, and the flat was beautiful! It had the old-world feel with modern amenities. Checkout was seamless and easy. Sophia was wonderful and helpful! I definitely would recommend this host!

Beautiful apartment, very helpful hostess

My daughter and I stayed at the apartment for a week and it is beautifully decorated, kitchen and bathrooms are sleek and the location is great for getting around - very central. There was some construction work in the mornings - my understanding is that it's finishing up -- but it was largely fine, and again, loved the apartment - very spacious and nice to hang out. Thanks Sophia!

Wonderful flat...

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sophia's flat. The apartment is charming, and gave us a real sense of being in "old" Budapest. Do not be put off by the stairs (quite a few) that you need to climb to get to the apartment....it is larger than the pictures show, and everything works wonderfully. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring the city, with excellent restaurants right around the corner. Thanks so much for the stay! We celebrated Christmas there, and it was magical.

The apt location was ideal. It was close to all attraction and the Hop On and Hop Off bus. Cafes were just around the block for your morning coffee. Kristina, the property mgr, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The apt complex is going through reconstruction so workers started at 7 am but it didn’t bother us since we are early risers. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great location for all sights & airport (non-stop 100E airport bus stop is 5mins walk away) The flat had all amenities one could want & Sophia answered any questions we had very promptly. The only negative was the renovating building work that started at 7am! However, this is only temporary so I wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay here again.

Beautiful apartment in Beautiful city

This apartment was beautifully appointed, and perfect for two couples. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it was lovely and clean. This was a very central location, easy to get around by either walking or transit. The only negative was the overall building, which was completely under renovations. Walkways were in the process of being cemented, and fortunately for us, lots of noisy work was being done during the day when we were out. It did not impact our stay, but may have for those needing some quiet time during the day. It is also 93 steps up to the apartment, which we handled fine with our luggage, but some may find that challenging.

Conveniently located, with great access to bus, tram and train. Clean and quiet. Outside construction in progress but finished up by 5 p everyday so very quiet at night.

Schöne Wohnung mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, welche Mann/Frau für eine Trip nach Budapest benötigt. Check-In/-Out reibungslos und pünktlich. In der Nähe der Whg. befindet sich 24-Std. Supermarkt und direkt um die Ecke Gastronomie mit Biergarten. Wohnungsausstattung wie in Inserat beschrieben. Wohnung für einen Aufenthalt mit max. 5-6 Erwachsenen absolut zu empfehlen, auch wenn der Aufstieg der 94 Treppenstufen etwas anstrengend...

Die Wohnung hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen (Schnitt, Helligkeit, Einrichtung, 2 Bäder waren auch praktisch ...). Sie ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Budapest zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erkunden. Wäre gern länger geblieben.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Wohnung mit Altbaucharme Mitten in der Stadt

Wir haben als Familie eine gute Woche zu viert in der Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral, in einer ruhigen Strasse und die Fenster gehen auf den Innenhof. Sie ist bestens ausgestattet mit allem: ausreichend Toiletten und Badezimmer (auch für 6 Personen), in der Küche kann man wunderbar kochen und im Wohnzimmer hat jeder bequem Platz am großen Esstisch, auf dem Sofa oder in den Sesseln. Die Vermieterin hat die Wohnung sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet, wir haben nichts vermißt. Ganz besonderen Dank dafür, dass Grundnahrungsmittel wie Salz, Zucker, Öl, Essig, Gewürze, Tee, Kaffe (von den Vormietern) noch in der Wohnung waren und wir nicht alles kaufen mussten (wie das sehr oft der Fall ist) ebenso wie Wasch- und Spülmittel. Wir alle waren restlos begeistert. Läden, Restauarants, öffentlicher Verkehr sind in unmittelbare Nähe, auch der Bus zum Flughafen (100E) ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Very well kept! Clean, up to date!

My friends and I shared this apartment for 5 nights. Everything was clean and neat. Sophia met us there and gave us all the info we needed about the apartment and even told us about restaurants recommendations. AC worked well. It was a very HOT weekin July. It was a short walk to public transportation, and also close to Big Bus Tours stop. We used this quite a bit to get around. All appliances in working order (the dishwasher leaked a little, but a towel was provided to absorb the water). All in all a great experience! Sophia arranged for transportation to the airport at the end of our stay and even gave us some chocolates as a parting gift! Only down side is that there were three flights of stairs to walk up (92 stairs)

Great location, clean, and quite place

The apartment is very well maintained, clean, and in a quite building. The location and proximity to walking distances from main attraction and touristic points is a bonus as well. All appliances, TV, and WIFI worked great. Note: Just be aware that the floors are high and no elevator.

Un apartamento precioso y confortable, situado en un edificio singular y muy céntrico. No hay nada que hayamos echado de menos. Con el frío que hacía fuera, en la casa se estaba calentito y abrigado. Un gusto llegar cada noche después del día entero andando y viendo cosas. Sophia lo puso todo fácil, el pago, la recogida de llaves y la despedida. Y estuvimos en contacto en todo momento. Si volvemos a Budapest, sin duda trataremos de repetir.
