Sit on balcony of this PERFECTLY SITUATED condo (not too high that all you see is Gulf, not too low so pool activity is disruptive) and enjoy views of Pleasure Pier, sweeping views of Gulf, and ideal spot to enjoy looking at beautiful pools/hot tubs/and lovely water features! Two full bedrooms with king beds/smaller room with trundle that sleeps 2/2 full baths off bedrooms/half bath serves smaller room. Tile floors in living areas/granite counters/seated dining capacity for 8 inside/4 or more on balcony. Light and cheerful decor throughout! 6 night minimum only. Palisade Palms rule. High speed Internet and wifi in condo. The common areas for owners and renters include exceptional gym/workout area, lanai, library, beautiful indoor entertainment area can be rented, vending machines, super game room with pool table, wide screen TV, etc., tennis court, basketball court, outdoor playground, indoor play nursery for toddlers accompanied by parents, beach volleyball, free coffee and newspapers on 2nd floor, 24 concierge.

About Ellen May

I live in Houston. I have been a licensed real estate broker for 35 years. I graduated from Rice University. I owned a property on West End in Galveston, but as a senior citizen, just knew I would enjoy condo living so much more. Palisade Palms with it's fabulous security was the answer as Galveston is one of my favorite places to 'get away from it all'. Come on down and enjoy what we love about our home away from home.

Why Ellen May chose Galveston

Having been a realtor I was always cognizant of the first 3 rules of purchasing a home--1. Location 2. Location 3. Location. There are many similar plans in this hi-rise and of course they have different views. This Malibu has IT ALL! Views down the beach toward the Pleasure Pier/grand views of the Gulf/and a marvelous location to see pool area and water features etc. without being disturbed by the participants. We were pleasantly surprised to find we lucked out literally with this condo location. Totally shaded and breezy (usually) in the popular summer months, and sunny and warm during the winter months which make for year round enjoyment.

What makes this condo unique

Without sounding redundant, the location of this particular unit was exactly what I was looking for in Palisade Palms. This floor plan affords 2 private separate bedrooms on either side of living area with en suite bathrooms. The bonus room has trundle beds but is a fun play room for kids also.

The security of Palisade Palms is exceptional! Concierge desk is extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. The caliber of owners and renters in Palisade Palms is really nice. Everyone is respectful of the renters. Elegant place to spend a week or more.

Beautiful beach view! Beautiful condo - everything we needed!

Ellen's condo was perfect for our family - it felt just like being at home, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. We have been staying at the Palisade Palms for years but this was the first time at Ellen's and we will definitely be coming back. She was very attentive and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed, and that everything was working. The location on the east end of the island is perfect for going downtown and to the spots we like - Mosquito Cafe, Farley Girls, Sunflower Bakery (the pies o my!), and shopping on the Strand.

We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this unit! Beautiful views and well appointed. Pallisade Palms offers many amenities and the beach access is far superior to most Galveston rentals.

Located near the best restaurants, Ellen's condo also is perfect for cooking your own meals too. Internet, televisions, and bed comfort all get high marks!

Ellen's place was just what we were looking for. It has all the amenties you need and more, and to top it off has one of the best views! The condo was clean and tidy, and had what I call "extras." By that I mean there were little things like spices, and oil, and butter, towels, and even cleaning supplies. Some vacation rentals do not include these items, and it helps when you don't have to buy salt and pepper! The pool area was wonderful and the beach just a short walk over the walkway bridge! We loved it and hope to go back some day! Thanks Ellen!

PS - Ellen was very responsive to all of our requests too!

Loved this condo. It had everything we needed, super nice and lots of amenities. Owner was very accommodating and kept on touch to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be a returner to this property and hopefully this same condo unit. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your condo.

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our stay in Ellen's condo. It is beautifully decorated and very nicely equipped. The view from the patio is amazing. The condo complex is very nice. Everything was bright and clean and all the employees are so nice. My husband was thoroughly impressed with the work out facilities. I can't say enough good things about our stay. I would highly recommend Ellen's condo to anyone looking for an extra special stay in Galveston.

Beautiful, quiet, friendly, and secure property.

Property is outstanding. Best property on the island. The amenities are exceptional. The condo is fully stocked with anything you could need or want. The balcony has wonderful views of the ocean and is great to enjoy a family meal on it. The condo itself is very spacious. We are already planning our next stay here.
