Nestled in serene nature, "In the Stillness" is a cozy cabin crafted for peace and renewal. Inspired by the ownersâ desire for meaningful connections, it offers a restful retreat. The warm interiors and tranquil setting invite guests to unwind, enjoy coffee on the porch, relax in the sauna, melt into the massage chair, or soak in the hot tub. Guided by "Be still" (Psalm 46:10), this sanctuary fosters physical, emotional, and spiritual rest, perfect for reconnecting and escaping daily life.
Guests at In the Stillness have access to local discounts on various activities such as massages, horseback riding, trout fishing guides, and magic shows.

The surrounding woods offer hiking trails, birdsong, and breathtaking views to ground you in the present.
PLEASE NOTE: There are 10 stairs leading from the parking area to the front door of the cabin. There is no entrance to the cabin without accessing stairs. Additionally, there are stairs leading to the firepit.

Weâre Kristy and Clay, the heart behind "In the Stillness." Kristy, a nurse, thrives outdoors, tending her flower beds, running, and staying active. Clay, a teacher and baseball and golf coach, finds peace reconnecting with nature through grounding and early morning workouts. Our two sons share a passion for baseball, keeping us busy at the ballpark. Blending our love for travel, Kristyâs flair for shopping and decorating, and our shared desire to create meaningful experiences, we embarked on this adventure of owning a rental property. Our vision is to grow this dream, adding more properties in our favorite destinations, but our greatest priority is honoring God in every decision. Through our careers and this cabin, we aim to reflect Godâs love to everyone we meet.
