Nestled atop a ridgeline deep in the Ouachita National Forest, this 1,100 sq. ft. cabin offers uninterrupted panoramic views from every room—even the shower! At night, the star-filled sky provides a dazzling display of shooting stars.

The Summit House is 100% off-grid, generating its own solar power, well water, and septic system while still providing modern comforts.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash all dirty dishes and leave on the drying mat.
Tie up the trash so odor does not escape. Please do not leave any food items on the counters or tables.
Set temp based on outdoor temp. If colder than 70 degrees then set the wall heater to 66. If it's 70 degrees or hotter then set Mini Split AC (snowflake displayed) on 74 degrees & wall heater off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Renter agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking. No parties/events.
No smoking indoors or littering. Guest who booked must be present entire stay. Keep doors closed to prevent critters.
Dogs only (max 2). Crate when unattended. No pets on furniture/linens. Fees or eviction for violations.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was spotless and the views were breathtaking. It was exactly as pictured. The bed was very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with all necessities. The view was spectacular! The sunrise was incredible to wake up to, and the cabin was really nice. The owners communicated quite well. The only thing I was picky about was the cleanliness of the place when we got there. There were quite a few spider webs on the doors, the mirrors had a couple of stains as well as some dishes, and the fridge. Other than that, we had an excellent stay and would definitely want to come again!

This was amazing. Perfect views and vibes. The drive up isn’t terrible at all, just book the cabin and I promise you’ll be happy you did. The host are amazing and have clear communication before and during your trip. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We spent majority of our time on the huge deck overlooking the lake. We had a great time and cannot wait to come back.

Warm thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family! We absolutely loved starting the New Year here! The road up was a fun adventure in our 4WD and the cabin is so spacious, yet cozy. We lived on the back deck soaking up the beautiful view, morning coffee, and evening cocktails. We reclaimed time as days seemed longer to just unwind. 259 is great for exploring the local dining and shops. We loved the fire-pit for roasting hot dogs and nightly s’mores.  Loved family boardgames each night and reading books on the deck.  The view is so special here and stars/moon are so vibrant too.  Just wait for the sunrises and clouds!  WiFi was perfect and our Amazon Firestick worked great for YouTube TV. We stayed for the weekend and honestly, it was amazing. From the drive in to the cabin, with all the deer along the way, everything was just what we needed for a peaceful little getaway. The view was perfect. There was a little blue bird perched on the treetops everyday singing for hours that we loved. It stormed on our last night, and watching the thunder and lightning from the bedroom was such a cool view. We will be back!
