So peaceful

  • 5 of 5

The place was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and so peaceful. We had 10 people in our group, and we never felt crowded. There is so much to do very near the cabin that we never ran out of fun things to do. We look forward to coming back.

Beautiful home and breathtaking views!

  • 5 of 5

Home was beautiful! We were there for Christmas and it was beautifully decorated! Felt like home (even better)!! Place was clean and well maintained! We snowmobiled. Driveway was perfect for trailers, etc and we were super close to all the trails!! Truly wonderful place! I wish we could have stayed longer. Owners were very attentive to any questions we had! Very nice!!! I would very much recommend staying here! I hope to go back soon!

Peaceful, relaxing, and breathtaking!

  • 5 of 5

We went to the cabin this fall just as the Aspens were changing and it was Gorgeous (around mid-Sept)! After a long summer, it was just what we needed.

Here is my Pro/Con list.

1. The views are so beautiful! Especially of the trees surrounding the front of the cabin. We went out each morning with a book before the sun came up and loved it. The view feeds the soul.

2. The cabin is laid out perfectly. We all had plenty of room. I think it's plenty big for 3 families comfortably...4 if needed. I especially loved all the windows in the upstairs bedrooms. What a treat!

3. So close to all the fun attractions. We had a great time in Yellowstone (just a short 20 min drive away), and also exploring the little city of West Yellowstone. We hiked a SHORT distance to Henry's Lake (you can actually see the lake from the cabin). It's a perfect location.

4. Fully equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to make some great meals! Love having the BBQ pit and Fire pit for Dutch Oven. It was great.

5. The dining area is terrific! We had so much fun playing games at the long farm table they had set up.

1. I only have one. The cleaning could've been a bit better. It was definitely clean enough to stay...but just not quite to the level you would expect. There were some old cobwebs on the ceiling fans and in the log beams that had collected and by the amount of dust on them, you could tell had been there awhile. The floor was sticky...and the fridge was not cleaned well. It seemed to be only half dusted, etc. Out of 1-10, the cleaning would've gotten a 7. (It honestly wasn't bad...I would just have your cleaning people hit it a little harder next time)...I don't mean these comments to be critical...but helpful!

Saying that....I would ABSOLUTELY go back again. It's that great of a cabin. You can tell the owners have put it together with a lot of love. Thank you for letting us have a little slice of your heaven!

Beautiful Home with Breathtaking Views

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for a large group of adults and teens. The teens had the whole downstairs to themselves which included a huge family room and two bedrooms/2 baths. Having so many bathrooms was a great plus also. The house was very convenient to Yellowstone, maybe a 20 minute drive to town and the West Gate. The outside firepit was perfect for toasting smores and relaxing after a day of hiking. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils and the cupboard was stocked with spices etc. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking to get away from it all. The house is literally in the middle of a wide open field of antelope and cows. Great sunsets and views of the mountains.

Amazing home with great view.

  • 5 of 5

The house had everything we needed for our large group of 17 and plenty of room for everyone to move around. The kitchen is big which helped getting meals ready for large groups. It was great sitting on the porch and enjoying sunset.

We did have a problem with the dishwasher. When we arrived the dishwasher was full and not emptied after being run so we had to do that and it did not drain and had a couple of inches of soapy water. I called the owner who quickly returned my call and said there was a drain button. I did not see one and so we did not risk running the dishwasher incase it was clogged. Some windows do not have screens and we didn't want to leave them open since bugs were flying in. This was a big problem in the bunk room since it sleeps 8 people and got hot in there. The house is advertised for 18 people but there are really only beds for 16 and two would have to sleep on couches. There is a pull out couch in the downstairs bedroom which is unusable. When I opened the couch I found the mattress to have holes in it and it had no firmness at all so you felt the frame when you did lie down. Also found no sheets for this mattress. All the furniture in the house is fine except for this couch which no one could sleep on so we had two people sleeping on the floor. I still highly recommend this house. Its in a great located and about 15-20 minutes to the West gate of Yellowstone.

We are located approximately 1/4 mile off the south shore of Henrys Lake in quite Sawtell Meadows. If you enjoy fishing then you will be in heaven with the many options available to you. Try your luck at Henrys Lake for monster lake trout or wade the crystal clear waters of the outlet or Henrys Fork.

Boating activities like tubing waterskiing and wake boarding can be enjoyed at Island Park Reservoir which is a short 20 min drive.

West Yellowstone is just 21 miles away and is a souvenir shoppers delight with the many shops and galleries waiting for your enjoyment. A must see is Yellowstone National Park for the wildlife, geysers and spectacular scenery.

One of our favorite times to visit the cabin is in the winter. The driveway is plowed all winter long for your easy access. Once you visit the area in the winter you will understand why it is known as the snowmobile capital of the world. The groomed trail system is a few hundred yards away which will give you 200+ miles of trail options.
