Great Cabin in a Great Location!

  • 4 of 5

Our group of 6 adults had a great time staying in this cabin! The setting was unbeatable. Remote country feeling yet only 20 minutes to the West gate of Yellowstone. While the inside was beautiful with plenty of room, we spent most of our time here on the Awesome covered deck out back. We grilled out, ate dinner and enjoyed the fire pit every chance we got. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway yet easy access to the park, this is the place for you!

Great owner and very accommodative to our needs.

  • 5 of 5

The property is fine and we were lucky to have a very nice owner. The only problem we had was the HomeAway customer representative who was rude and not helpful at all.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

It is located in a beautiful and somewhat secluded part of Island Park, yet close to fun activities. We cooked most meals here and the kitchen was well stocked. We held a family reunion so we had lots of people. The basement has a big bathroom where 4 or 5 people can get ready at the same time (which was nice)!

We roasted marshmallows and ate smores at the fire pit (there was firewood for us to use). The deck was very handy and provided extra space for eating dinner, watching sunsets as well as the antelope. We made family videos and the downstairs TV was the perfect place for everyone to gather and watch. The cabin overall was in great condition! We had a great time.

Mountain Air and Starry Skies

  • 5 of 5

Members of my family gathered from far locations to reunite for a few days. We were in awe while watching the International Space Station move across the incredibly brilliant, starry sky the first night we were together. We counted shooting stars and named constellations. Sagebrush-scented mountain air was intoxicating. Antelope wandered close to the cabin during the day and we could hear coyotes at night. Wild flowers were in full bloom across the great expanse of open meadow. Delightful. We were pleased with the accommodations and grateful to have such a pleasant place to be together for a few days of reaffirming family time.

Room to Move, Convenient to All of Yellowstone and surrounding area

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here the last week of June 2017. We had planned one or two main things to do each day of our vacation and this was the perfect base camp. Whether we were in or out of Yellowstone each day we had a little drive but with planning it always worked. You should plan some down time to relax and take advantage of this wonderful cabin. There was only 6 of us so we had room to move around. There were plenty of staples in the kitchen and we left more as I am sure everyone does. Would stay here again, maybe winter next time. One thing to know is the dump is closed on Wed. and Thur.

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely beautiful cabin and amazing views. Mountains all around you and short hike to Henry's Lake that offers incredible scenery. 20 minute drive to the West Entrance of Yellowstone, so was able to spend 3 days exploring Yellowstone, and able to make it back at a reasonable time to enjoy relaxation at the cabin.
