This property was dated but super clean and very comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom was more comfortable than my bed at home! The yard is fenced and private, it was super easy to let my dogs out and they loved running around in the big yard. If you have pets, this is the place to stay!
Very peaceful time, nice old cottage feel. Pub themed. Enjoyed very much

We didn't get check in info and multiple messages were sent, we finally had to call VRBO themselves who then found the owner and was able to give us the info, in the time waiting we were sitting at the North Carolina visitors center for almost 2 hours. There is old furniture and a broken dishwasher sitting outside by the door and they are filled with cobwebs. The back wooden deck has broken boards which I tripped over multiple times. The microwave only functions on the popcorn or potato settings.

Response from VrboOwner on Sep 17, 2025
Diane, I do want to reach out to apologize again for the delay in getting into the home. My setting for Vrbo to go directly to my phone (and send you the info) was not on and I am horrified you needed to wait to get in. I do appreciate your feedback on the microwave as we tend to only clean it and not test it. The items were scheduled to be picked up prior to your arrival - that is on me and unacceptable. I had assumed they had taken the items with them after putting in the new appliance. I have hired a new maintenance person and they have already replaced the boards on the deck. Your feedback was super helpful and I appreciate you letting us know.
