This comfy and cozy three bedroom home features WiFi, Netflix, two spacious patios, a fully enclosed, large side-yard, children's playhouse, ample parking, picnic area, two full bathrooms and comfortably accommodates 6 adults.
The home is just under 1,100 square feet with two bedrooms & one full bathroom on the south side of the home & the main bedroom and main bathroom on the north side. In between the bedrooms are the laundry room, kitchen and living area.

Located only 1 mile south of Bandon city limits and 1 mile east of the beautiful Oregon Coast.
We offer a fine mix of privacy, while still being able to access all that Bandon and the surrounding towns have to offer.

Bandon offers a variety of fishing opportunities; whether you are interested in Coho or Chinook Salmon, Halibut, rock fish, catching your own Dungeness or Red Rock crab or even clamming in the mud flats.

If you enjoy golfing, our home is located just a few minutes from the world famous Bandon Dunes Golf Resort & Bandon Crossings Golf Course.

Bandon also offers a variety of highly rated restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques & specialty shops.

About Bandon Bear Cottage:

The living room features two couches and a flat-screen television. Although our home doesn't have satellite/cable television, we do offer Netflix, DVD player and a collection of DVDs. We also offer a library of books, puzzles, board games and children's toys.

The kitchen features a 4 burner stove, oven, adequate counter space, dining room table and is fully stocked for a simple dinner for two or an extravagant family feast.

The master bedroom features a California King for your comfort, walk-in closet, black-out curtains, bench and a large dresser.

Guest bedroom #1 features a cozy Queen size bed, dresser, black-out curtains and a closet.

Guest bedroom #2 is brightly colored and features a trundle bed with two twin size beds, a desk and a closet.

We had a lovely time at Bandon Bear Cottage, it was simply perfect for us. My husband golfed and I explored the gorgeous beaches so close by. The house was adorable, clean and homey. I locked myself out and Marisa was so kind to rush to the rescue- she was delightful. We will be back again.

Lovely home in a lovely town

Loved this home. It had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive with a little help we needed at the home. When we are back in town we will definitely stay here again.

The Bandon Bear Cottage was cozy and full of supplies to make the stay comfortable and not have to travel with supplies. The yards are expansive and perfect for outdoor play. the little outdoor play house allowed hours of creative play for little ones. Very clean home! The owners are prompt in answering questions and gave us a little history of their ownership of the home. Delightful people to meet.

Perfect Family House

Wonderful Little Place

We had such a good time getting together with our son and his family. Four adults and two kids, and the Bear Cottage was just right for us. Easy to get to the local attractions. The owners take extra steps to making your visit a great one. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay and play in Bandon.

Great Weekend Getaway

We were just looking for a place for a weekend getaway for my husband's birthday. Bear Cottage was fabulous. Clean, plenty of room, nice location. Host was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything went well for our family. I would highly recommend a stay here. Especially if you love bears as much as I do!

Perfect after Christmas relaxation

We arrived the day after Christmas (Thursday) and had to leave on Sunday. It was so lovely and cozy. Listening to the rain every night in bed was nice. The twin beds were kinda squeaky but the queen and king beds were comfy. The couches were soft and the kitchen was adequately stocked for us.

Such an adorable place! Perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). Close to Bandon by the sea, but still private and cozy. Owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A fantastic experience. We highly recommend!

Comfortable and close to everything

A friend and I stayed at the Bear Cottage for two nights for a weekend getaway to Bandon. The house was really comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. It was also close to everything--the beaches, downtown, and the main road in and out of town. Marissa was an excellent host and very responsive. I'd stay here again!

Great place for a family stay

Although it was just the two of us staying, we had our daughter and her wife come over from where they were camped. The owner also allowed them to bring their dogs to a fenced area in the yard. They were very communicative and helpful. This place is perfect for a large family even though we didn’t need the space. Perfect for loading and unloading the car.

Perfect getaway. Great hosts!

The house and property were clean and beautifully kept. Super Clean house with everything we needed. Host had a basket of goodies waiting for us and a welcome card with well wishes for our anniversary. House was close to downtown, food and several beach destinations/ attractions. They even let us borrow a kite as we forgot ours. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

cute house with large yard. our family members where getting into town kind of late, so the host was kind enough to build a fire and leave a little gift basket. the little extras were amazing. My aunt loved the bear sign in the bathroom!

Comfy, Great Location with Wonderful Hosts

The home was the perfect size for 4 adults and 2 children with an easy comfortable floor plan. The property is kid friendly with a cute playhouse outback and the home is well stocked with books, toys and dvds. The location is really good, close to the beach and town but yet out just enough to have a relaxing country feel. The hosts were kind enough to lend us their charcoal bbq so we didn't have to bring one. There were some nice extra touches of a handwritten card, goodie basket and chocolates on the pillows. I would stay here again and recommend it to others :)

Nice place, but broken mattress

First, the "elephant in the room" was the king-sized bed in the primary bedroom. It was broken; when laying on it, there was a hump in the middle and the sides were flat. My wife could only stand to lie in it for 10 seconds. Unfortunately, this was the main reason we chose Bandon Bear Cottage as there was a dearth of other options with a king-sized bed in the area. We ended up staying in the second bedroom (queen) for our stay. Other than that, the house was a delight. The area was quiet at night, even Hwy 101 was far enough away from the house so that traffic noise was almost unnoticeable. It was a good "home base" for us to explore the Southern Oregon Coast. The bear themed decorations weren't overdone and provided a nice game to count all the instances of bears one could see in the house. Though we didn't use them, the kitchen had all the right pots and pans and cooking utensils. (We did worry about scratching the floor moving in and out from the dining table.) The video library was rather eclectic and the couch and love seat were comfortable and well placed for TV viewing by the whole family. The grounds were lovely and well-tended. If we hadn't had such bad weather during our stay, we wished we could have sat outside.

Great little house

My name is Marissa and I was born and raised throughout California. For almost three decades, I have been visiting and falling more and more in love with the Oregon Coast. Six years ago, I introduced my husband to Bandon and the rest is history! We searched for over a year for our "perfect vacation getaway" from the hustle and bustle of California. Although our California home is located over 500 miles from Bandon Bear Cottage, that doesn't stop us from making the trek with our dogs & small children often. We hope you love our vacation home and Bandon, Oregon, just as much as we do!
