This spacious getaway offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor, plus a cozy loft for extra sleeping or lounging. The walkout basement includes an additional bathroom and direct access to the outdoors.

Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the main-level deck, your afternoons on the lake, and your evenings around the bonfire under the stars. With a full acre to explore, a yard for the kids to run free, and a private pond for catch-and-release fishing, there’s something for everyone.

Lake Life Made Easy:
Enjoy the water with access to 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, and 1 paddleboat—all included in your stay. Or bring your own kayak, boat, or snowmobile. The public boat dock is just a few minutes away (let us know if you plan to dock your boat during your stay so that we may prepare the dock for you), and the nearby Bear Lake Campground & beach offers a classic Wisconsin experience with Friday night fish fry, Sunday pizza buffet, live music, and a tiki bar.

The house was very comfortable and roomy for our family and the property was beautiful. The kids had a ball fishing from the pier, although it would have been nice to be able to swim also, but it was too weedy; and the pond was too weedy with no access to fish. The only other downfall is being right on a busy highway. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider a future stay.

Amazing property

We had an amazing experience here at bear hug house! The property was very clean and looked even better in person. I loved how it was right on the lake. Pictures made it look a little farther but it’s so close to the lakefront. We appreciated how professional and well organized the home owner was with communication and expectations. I liked the customized document about check in/out. She also provided us with info on things to do around town which was very helpful. We loved that they provided a bunch of games, movies, books, and things to do on the water. Nothing but great things to say!
