Chain of Lakes House-3 Bedroom Pontoon Boat Available

Otter Lake Cottage is on a 22 lake crystal clear chain for boating, fishing, water skiing, skiing, tubing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and other water sports in the crystal clear natural spring fed lake. This cottage has Western exposure and gets sun pretty much all day, yet our patios get a lot of shade. You are able to dive in right off the end of the dock, swim to our platform or watch fish right from the dock. If you like to fish, there are 3 docks to choose from. You can rent our 15 person San Pan pontoon with real seats for an additional charge. We also include 2 kayaks, paddle boat, canoe and a row boat with your rental. Our cottage features 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom. The house will sleep 10 people with 8 in the standard beds and the rest in the living room areas with sleeper sofas. We have a huge yard for you to play yard games and two couples chose to have their weddings here. There is central air conditioning, dishwasher, a washer & dryer, a fire pit on the patio and one further in the yard, charcoal grill, cable TV, DVR, games and High Speed WIFI for all to use. There are also many other great places to eat in town along with ice cream shops and pizza places in Waupaca which all are just minutes away. In King which is right down the street, visit the State Veterans Home on the Chain, small shops and of course Clear Water Restaurant and Bar for your favorite band. This house/cottage home has it all and is only a 2 hour drive from Milwaukee, 3-3.5 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Madison, 35minutes from Appleton/Oshkosh, 1hour from Wausau and 30 minutes from the Wautoma area. It is the perfect drive, with the feel of 'Up North' without the long drive.
Includes all kitchen items, washer/dryer, bed linens. No smoking or pets. All you need to bring are pillows and towels. - One bedroom cottage may also be available. It is right next door to 3 bedroom cottage, but has privacy fences, etc to keep your space separate.

Even though the cabin was in a waterfront residential area, it was extremely peaceful. Beautiful yard and the location is a perfect starting point for whereever you want to go. Jim was kind and very helpful in answering any questions I had.

Wonderful Cabin, Peaceful Setting

A spur of the moment trip led us to this sweet little cabin! The view in the fall was lovely, the cabin was exactly what we needed and the fireplace was the highlight of our trip! This cabin is close to all the fun, but nestled on a quiet road overlooking Otter Lake. Couldn't have asked for a better spot! We'll definitely be back!

Amazing Stay

Cute property on a secluded lake that ajoins with many larger multi sport fun lakes! Jim's place is clean, cozy and 5 minutes from anything you could need. (Starbucks..lol) Great BBQ and a bait shop. Jim was cordial and was very accomidating. Will be back again! Ps. The pontoon is perfect and reals seats were comfortable, especially the captain's seat!

Was just beautiful. Centrally located between all our family and friends. Jim was very accommodating to our schedule, which changed a few times in the planning stage. Boat rides on the chain were splendid. Overall, excellent visit. No complaints. Hope to come back next year! Love spending time with family but not being a nuisance in their homes!

House was bigger then expected. Host was always available for questions. We had 15 people and we're comfortable in the 3 bedroom and 1 bedroom. Price was very reasonable. Only negative could use some updates in and out of the house. Beautiful area!

A place for family to stay

I rented this home for my oldest daughter, son-in-law, their 3 kids(4 months, almost 2 and 3 1/2 year old), my youngest daughter and her boyfriend New Years weekend. We were all in town to celebrate Christmas with my mother. This place worked out perfectly. It made it much easier with having the the little ones there than at a hotel room. The little bit of a negative is the 10:00 am check out time. It was tough getting everything done and packed up with the baby and two energetic toddlers to check out by ten. Would definitely rent this place again.

We purchased the property in 2020 and have made numerous changes including: kitchen in 3 bedroom cottage, central air, internet, cable, big screen tv, patios and new docks. We are from originally from Fond du Lac and have done our best to make it the cleanest place to stay that we can. We looked at a lot of properties to rent for a week prior to purchasing. We think we understand what we need to do to make your stay comfortable and hassle free.

Why they chose this property

We love the size of the lot. We have actually had two weddings at the cottage. It is a spacious lot on a quiet lake, yet can get to all the action on the chain.

What makes this property unique

Otter Lake Cottage is actually a wedge away from the 5th hole at Fox Fire Golf Course and only .5 miles from their front door. We believe being on Otter Lake is perfect for those who want to be on the 22 lake chain, but don't want all the boat traffic each and every day. We have easy access to all lakes, yet the possibility to swim in the middle of the lake most of the time.
