Old world charm with a touch of Italy

  • 5 of 5

A house reflects its owner...and Vlada is a gracious lady and wonderful hostess. The house is full of her artistic decorating...art work, superb bedding and decorative pillows, things from all over the world to enjoy while relaxing. The house itself, with its marble floors, large windows over looking the valley rich with vineyards and citrus groves has spacious rooms rich with restful color schemes. One of our favorite spots was the balcony outside the master bedroom, a place to sit early mornings or watch the sun go down in the evenings. The countryside reflects Italy even tho you are just minutes from the town of Temecula. I can't put it all into this review as there is so much more to enjoy, right there at the Villa. We left rested and refreshed with the promise of returning.

Great Getaway Spot

  • 4 of 5

We only stayed for 2 nights for a girls getaway, but enjoyed hanging out in this spacious home. It is clean and pretty well maintained. Some of the furniture is a little tired, but comfortable. The view is amazing, with a beautiful outdoor space to hang out.

The property manager is very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. We will consider this home for our next visit.

Perfect Temecula Experience

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Villa de la Vine with two other couples for a family wedding (held close by) and enjoyed everything about this home, including the charming host family. The views are spectacular, the interior very comfortable for our celebrations with friends and family. Vlada was the perfect host and helped us with finding local caterers and all of the amenities we needed. Since we are out of state, we relied on her for so many suggestions. We will definitely use this VRBO next time we are in Temecula.

GREAT VIEW!!

  • 3 of 5

This property has a great view overlooking the Temecula wineries. The price is reasonable. Although it says there is room for 11 people, there is only room for 10. A disappointment for our 11th guest. Vlada is very nice and greeted us upon our arrival. She lives in an apartment attached to the house. That was not a problem as we never saw her after the welcome. The house is comfortable but the furniture is beginning to show some wear. We came here to relax for New Years, visit some wineries, golf and watch college football. While the property has Dish, there is only the most basic package available. We were dismayed there was no access to ESPN that broadcast most of the games we wanted to see. And there was only one TV in this big house. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and unsuitable for streaming. We eventually set up a hot spot on our phone and watched some games on an I-Pad. 3 of us maxed our data for the month, but we got toes our games!! The property is located conveniently for golf, wine tours, etc and can be great value for 10 people. Everything was celan and neat. Just don't plan to watch a lot of TV.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments as they will open doors to improvements on our end. Suggestions like yours would help us better serve our future guests. Villa offers 5 bedroom in which we can comfortably sleep 10 guest, however we do allow two additional guest to use couches, if needed, without additional charge. I understand your frustration regarding the internet as am experiencing similar problem daily. It's been challenging obtaining good internet service in our area however in past, however I am hopeful our neighborhood will soon have better internet providers in our area, until then I would need to count on my guest understanding and patience. Our decision to provide only one television in the house was very much intentional. Goal was to draw our guests to family room or outside to beautiful views, sunrises, sunsets and perhaps walking paths.....I envisioned family and friends spending more quality time together talking, cooking, bbq-ing, taking walks or visiting our beautiful wine country. In any case I will keep in mind your suggestions regarding providing broader programing selections. I am most thankful for you choosing to stay with us and appreciate you taking time to share your review with our future guests. Warmest regards, Vlada
