The property is truly amazing. We felt like we were in a Tuscany villa in Italy. The place was very spacious and clean. Vlada welcomed us with some krganic grapes and chocolate. It was sweet of her to do that.

Spectacular setting for a rehearsal dinner

  • 5 of 5

We chose this place because of the beautiful grounds overlooking the vineyards. We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner outside, under the lights and it was just perfect. We had family stay with us that had come from back east and enjoyed all being able to be under one roof. We found everything comfortable and clean. Vlada met us when we arrived and was delightful. She could not have been more helpful and accommodating.

I had read a lot of the reviews and was a little nervous when the wedding party ended up in the house after the 10:00. I kept an eye on my phone in case Vlada asked us to wrap it up. She never texted and I think everyone was gone by 11:30. One word of caution, there are a few level changes and we had several falls on to the tile floor. No one was hurt thankfully. We will definitely be back for a relaxing wine tasting trip with our friends.

Thank you Vlada for a truly amazing stay!

Wedding Weekend

  • 4 of 5

My family and I rented the house for a long weekend for my wedding at one of the local vineyards. My family stayed a total of 4 nights at the house and it is truly an incredible property. The house is beautiful, well decorated, located near the vineyards, and well equipped for anyone looking to enjoy some time in Temecula. Throughout the weekend family and friends were stopping at the house to say hello and help with pre-wedding duties. A couple families came to the house the night before the wedding and we were inside conversing and enjoying ourselves when I received a text message asking me to respect the 10pm sound ordinance. Since we were inside the only sound ordinance we could have been disrupting was to the unit below, which is where the owner of the home resides. Since we rented the entire home we did not expect to be confronted for having guests stop by for a couple hours or confronted for being too loud indoors. The following day (the day of my wedding!) I received a text asking me to make an additional payment as a "fee" for my family "gathering" by the end of the day. I was a little shocked about the request and thought it was tactless to be asking someone for additional payment on their wedding day. This request could have waited. Other than that, the stay was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful house

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed our stay, there were a couple glitches. The house and the grounds were beautiful. Vlada was very friendly and welcoming.

The cable didn’t work, it was fixed on the 2nd day of our stay. That was a drag as the men were looking forward to their sports. The house has a few step downs that were pretty invisible, luckily Vlada pointed them out for us, however she forgot to mention the step in the laundry room and my sister in law fell on it. That could of been a real disaster, luckily she was just a little bruised. The house lacked the basics like paper towels, Saran Wrap, ziplock bags, Tupperware, soap in the showers. The house says it sleeps 12, so I assumed there were a couple pull out couches, there weren’t, you could just lay on the couch and sleep that way. So it basically slept 10.

It was a good learning lesson for me to be aware of the things to look for and ask if there are supplied, when I’ve stayed at hotels or suites or other homes they will leave you a few items in the kitchen that are the basics, I was disappointed that for the price we paid for this home that those basic necessities weren’t there.

Owner's Response: Dear Jennifer, Thank you for taking time to leave your review. Your comments were very helpful. I wish to extend my sincere apology once again about the cable television service interruption. Repairman explained interruption was caused by wind. I am thankful DISH was able to send a tech early next day. Sorry to hear about your sister in law. Hope she is doing well... I usually don't mention step in laundry room since it's a regular step down ( unlike those on hallways). Thank you for pointing this out, I will make sure to do so with our future guests. After running VRBO for over 5 years we learned that most of our guests like to bring their own soaps so we now provide only hand soap. To be more environmentally friendly we replaced paper towels with cloth towels. Kitchen is equipped with basic cooking dishes however we don't provide Tupperware, aluminum foil, Saran Wrap and Ziploc bags. Regarding our sleeping arrangement, Villa offers 5 bedrooms where we can accommodate 10 guests. Additional 2 guests are welcome to stay for free and use couches, extra linens are available. Thank you again so much for choosing to stay with us. I so enjoyed meeting you and your family. Warmest regards, Vlada

Girlfriends Wine- tasting Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 days at this lovely home and had an amazing time. We would go wine tasting in the day and come back in the late afternoon to enjoy wine and appetizers on the property overlooking the vineyards and the beautiful scenery and sunsets. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony watching the hot air ballons go by and then hiked in the vineyards afterwards. Vlada was a very gracious and accomodating host and we enjoyed the fact that she was willing to join us one evening and share her stories. We would definitely come back, we were made to feel like this was our second home.
