This house was amazing and absolutely perfect for our needs. It was literally brand new from to to bottom, paint, flooring, furniture, appliances, decor, beds, linens, dishes, trash cans, you name it. The four bedrooms were each spacious. The host provided lots of extra amenities like laundry baskets in each room, tooth brush holders, bottled water cold in the frig. We gathered there to be close to Kennywood and to the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival. It was conveniently located between them with easy access to each. We did not spend any time in the neighborhood, but it looks like an area that is being regentrified with several shops/breweries nearby. I would absolutely return if I need to be in this area again. The only thing I would caution is to be careful along the edge of the driveway. It's a steep drop right by the edge to the parking lot next and easy to not realize this getting out of the car if you arrive after dark as we did due to the grass being tall. Great host, went the extra mile to welcome us. I highly recommend this property. I have rented dozens of VRBOs, so have some comparison to draw on.
