My husband, Eric and I are from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. While he has been working as a software engineer, I have been a high school teacher (French / English) since 2002 and began teaching yoga in 2023. We have a daughter, Abby, who graduated in 2025 and will attend CSU Monterey Bay. As a family, we love playing "Scooby-Doo Clue," and as a couple, we are crazy about cornhole (which we started playing on Water Island!). The only reason we have H2O in the Caribbean is because after closing escrow on a house on the big island of Hawaii in 2018, the volcano, Kilauea, began erupting; within 5 weeks, fissure 8 opened up and proceeded to bury our new home in 60-80 feet of lava. With the lava insurance money, we decided to take a different route, and came to St. Thomas. Falling in love with H2O the minute I opened the door and was greeted by the indoor tropical garden, misting from the rain above (yes, it rains in the house, but only in the garden), I gasped and we knew it was the one. This house is so special to us and we want others to experience how it feels to spend time in such a unique, one of one property. I guess you could say that I'm glad Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes, fire, and lightning, decided to claim our house and send us on another adventure in the Caribbean!
