Exactly what we were looking for our weekend excursion. Beautiful rural setting with Monticello just down the road and Charlottesville less than a 10 minute drive.
Great stay! The host was very nice and accommodating. Property is close to everything in the city and the wineries in the country. Would definitely stay there again!
Great location that was peaceful and made us feel right at home! Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Also loved the proximity to walking/running trails.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The space was beautiful, welcoming, and full of character. Everything we needed was provided, and the property itself was peaceful and breathtaking. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. We’d definitely stay here again when visiting Charlottesville!
Sara was a great host! She was so helpful and accommodating even helping us with our car problem. This was a perfect stay for us in Charlottesville. The property was great!
I had the most wonderful few days staying in this studio! It’s clean, quaint, and ideally located right outside downtown, while also being a little nature getaway in the countryside. I’m planning on moving to Charlottesville, so this was the ideal place to stay to get a taste of what the area has to offer. Sara was very accommodating after some issues I had with customer service/ changing my stay dates, and she last minute ensured my stay was seamless.
Great Studio stay in a beautiful countryside/farm yet so close to everything in Charlottesville! The wineries are so close, and great restaurants/downtown area is an easy 9 min drive away-great Farmer's Market on Saturday morning too! We also hiked in the Shenandoah National Park which is about an 1 1/2 hr scenic drive away. Our host Sarah was very responsive and informative - overall a wonderful trip!
A cute studio apartment. It was quiet. The shower was a good size and hot water temperature was perfect. Bed was comfortable. TV was a bit small, but who watches TV on vacation. It would've been easier to find the door with some lights or a pathway. Property was a bit tricky to find with no signs. I would stay here again next time I'm in the area.
We had a great stay on this historic estate! Very clean and cozy studio in the perfect location, in the countryside but close to town, with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. Close to Monticello, Highland, parks, and multiple wineries. Would definitely recommend to couples visiting the Charlottesville area!
The property is convenient to Monticello and Charlottesville. It was very clean and has a small kitchen and bathroom and they let us use the washer and dryer. It needs a new bed though. The current bed was not very comfortable.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you found the bed uncomfortable. Comfort can be very personal, and we understand that what works well for one guest may not work for another.
We wanted to note that the mattress is less than one year old, and we have not received any previous complaints regarding its comfort. That said, we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to evaluate and improve the guest experience.
