Quiet, Oceanfront Condo

We spent a relaxing week at Carribean Reef Villas in March.

Great weather, friendly helpful staff and very well kept grounds.

It’s an easy walk to the town of Puerto Morales with good local restaurants.

The condo was clean and right on the beach. The pool was a little chilly, but would definitely be nice to use in the warmer months. The property is in a quiet location and less than a mile from town. This was the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment is very nice, very well equipped, spacious and with a terrace with beautiful sea view. The location is a little away from the center of puerto morelos, in a less developed area. However for us that was great since we have privacy at the pool and beach. The beach was not pretty due to the amount of seaweed, but we enjoyed very much staying at the pool seeing the sea.

Great for families and couples that like privacy.

Had a great week at this property! The Condo is huge, more than enough space for a couple. We liked the location as it was out of the hustle and bustle of town. We rented bicycles and found them perfect for getting around. CRV is about a mile or so south of town. Taxis are a cheap way to get around as well.

The pool was great. Arlene was very helpful as were the property owners.

There is no oven in the Condo, so plan accordingly while at the store. Stove is not super powerful, so we kept meals pretty simple.

Know that the unoccupied swaths of land to the north and south are not maintained (not the fault of Caribbean Reef Villas). You will see a staggering amount of trash washed up if you venture in either direction. Again, not the property 's fault- just an unfortunate fact of life in that part of the world. CRV grounds were kept neat and tidy. Puerto Morelos is a great little town! Plenty to do. Food was spectacular. Great snorkeling and number of cenotes nearby.

This unit is perfect for folks who want a little seclusion without the crowds of larger complexes. Lee and Walt were very helpful, and maintained contact throughout the whole process.
