For Winter Texans, there is a large discount. otherwise It’s a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, walk-out overlooking a beautiful cove on Lake Conroe. Large front patio, with BBQ grill. Decorated in a tasteful yet whimsical marine motif. Stainless steel appliance and modern lighting with antiques scattered about. Kitchen, and both bath rooms with new granite counter tops and Carrera marble backsplashes. One bathroom has floor to ceiling marble walk-in shower, the other bath has tub and surround. Imagine ultra modern high end stainless steel light fixtures, even in the closets, every fixture, including ceiling fans are new. All original art, new sectional sofa with 4 recliners with heat, massage and cup chillers, red silk curtains, dark ebony or mahogany bedroom furniture with high thread count sheets, comforter, and tasteful & fun artistic throw pillows. All beds are very comfortable. All hotel pillows. All new stainless steel appliances, TV in each bedroom, 2 of which are smart TV, and big screen in the living room. Gold framed full mirrors in each walk-in closet. Kitchen has 18 point starburst light fixture over the rock maple butcher block island. Fully stocked with high end tableware, cookware, single cup Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, rice cooker, easy flip waffle-maker...I believe we have all the necessities. Let me know if we missed anything, and will make sure it is there as well. Biggest pantry you have ever seen. Laundry has a 2nd refrigerator and large capacity front loading washer and dryer, with a "twin" smaller washer and a "twin" smaller dryer" on top. Very cool. Undermount sinks, faucets. We did not change the beautiful Austin-style river rock massive fireplace in the middle of the home. Stunning, and probably the reason Woody wanted this house. I put an electric fireplace insert into the fireplace with heat and electronic flames without the mess. (remote control). The front door has an electronic entry, so just use the code for security. Plenty of parking. Plenty of storage, privacy. It is perfect for an executive family who just moved to this area, and wants to leave all belongings packed and just bring suitcases. Pack your home into a movable pod, put it in storage, and only unpack into your new home when it is ready. Why move everything twice? Our rates are adjusted for long term rentals. Of note, this is the lower floor of our 5200 sq foot home, and we live upstairs, however, there are no shared indoor common spaces. Woody is retired and Iwork pretty far away and commute, and we are a very nice couple. We are happy to also have short term or long weekend renters but are not the location for bachelor parties, or graduation parties. No Smoking please. Pets are welcome, small non-refundable pet cleaning fee for our cleaning crew. For pets, one of the bedrooms has a door which opens out into a fenced yard so easy to walk the dog, just open the door.
We have nearly 2 acres in a rural feeling neighborhood where everyone has acreage. It seems the Homeaway computer program uses a Google App which sees "the French Quarter" as so close it thinks we are in there. Nope, it is just close. Also it says we are 3 miles from the lake, nope, we are waterfront. Our property is either lake or lawn. Plenty of room for kids to play. We also have fishing gear you can use. Plenty of parking. We are happy to answer questions.
