About the host
Hosted by Nathan Ruben Garcia
I’m Nathan, originally from Texas, and I love sharing the warmth and hospitality of my hometown with guests. I’m a new Vrbo host, and one of my goals is to become a Superhost one day. Hosting gives me the chance to meet people from all over while creating a welcoming space where they can feel comfortable and at ease.
In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, traveling, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends. I’ve had the chance to visit 10 national parks across the United States, and I hope to keep exploring even more in the future. My motivation as a host is not only to save for more travel opportunities, but also to support my parents and grandparents, who mean so much to me.

Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because of its welcoming atmosphere and the sense of community it provides. It’s the newest subdivision in Harlingen, which makes it a modern, well-kept, and family-friendly place to stay. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing mornings and evenings after a busy day. I also appreciate how safe and comfortable it feels to walk around, with kind and friendly neighbors adding to its charm.
What I love most is the balance—this neighborhood gives you that calm, homey vibe while still being close to everything. Within minutes, you can reach local restaurants, shops, and attractions, and being in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley makes it easy to explore South Padre Island or McAllen without a long drive. It’s truly the best of both worlds: a relaxing, family-friendly neighborhood with quick access to all the highlights of the region.
