Peaceful 2-bedroom home on Rainbow Lake
Wonderful home overlooking Rainbow Lake. This cozy 2 bedroom home features direct lakefront with lakeside sitting area and your own dock. Enjoy our kayaks, canoes, and row boat on the more than 26 miles of inter-connecting lakes. There are 2 pairs of loons with babies who are practicing flying over the lake, a pair of bald eagles, and a pair of great blue herons. Watch 2 otters playing off the dock, and enjoy seeing deer have a morning drink by the lake. Just outside your front door is a hiking trail that stretches more than 140 miles through beautiful scenic areas. Hike hills or high peaks. Scale sheer rock faces, or hike behind a waterfall. Hike up Whiteface mountain, or drive up, and on clear days see all the way to Canada. Tour the Lake Placid Olympic sites, and in June see the horse show. Home has a gas oven and stovetop, full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Enjoy the casual second livingroom area on the lower level with lake view
