Wildlife sanctuary to eagles, loons, blue heron, osprey, beaver, otter and several species of ducks. Enjoy some of the best fishing in the Adirondacks (bass, northern pike, walleye to name a few). Many small coves and islands allow for very intimate kayak and canoe exploring. Swimming right of the docks and private beach, and a private float rests just off the shore. Breathtaking views of the lake and gorgeous sunsets from the wrap around deck/dock and point. Loads of sunshine! Views of the lake from just about every room in the house. Horseshoe Pits on property. Come enjoy a winter wonderland. There are numerous opportunities for cross country skiing right out your door step. If snowmobiling is your thing, we also have numerous trails and actually are only a couple hundred feet from a major snowmobiling trail. You can go downhill skiing at whiteface mountain or enjoy all the Olympic venues in Lake Placid. Don't forget ice fishing.
