Welcome to Bailey Cottage, a beautifully renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath modern cottage just steps from historic downtown St. Marys, Georgia, the Waterfront and the Cumberland Island ferry. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation, this charming home includes a bonus flex room with an upgraded queen sleeper sofa, perfect for extra guests or a cozy third bedroom.

Enjoy a spacious open layout, a fully equipped kitchen for easy meals, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Outside, unwind on the large front porch or fire up the grill in the backyard. Bikes are provided for exploring the neighborhood, and there’s plenty of parking for boats or trailers. An EV charger is available for a small additional fee.

Walk to the waterfront, restaurants, and the Cumberland Island ferry, or plan day trips to Crooked River State Park, St. Simons, Jekyll Island, and St. Augustine. For the comfort of all guests, Bailey Cottage is a no pets, no parties, and no smoking property.

If you need additional space, our Guesthouse shares the property with Bailey Cottage. If available, you can add Bailey Guesthouse, a 1 bd/1 bath efficiency to your reservation which will provide an additional queen bed and full bathroom to your reservation.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and so comfortable- especially for our longer stay. Furnished with everything we needed. It was one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at. Location is great, neighborhood felt very safe. The communication with our hosts was excellent. Would definitely return here

The Bailey cottage was absolutely beautiful! The owners did a great job decorating this place. The attention to detail was outstanding. We never felt like we were in someone else’s home. The place was extremely comfortable, we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend the Bailey Cottage!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bailey Cottage! It’s perfect for groups! Our teenager and 7-year-old both had a great time. The house is beautifully renovated and truly one of the best-stocked rentals we’ve ever stayed in. From the well-equipped kitchen to the amazing board game selection, comfy beds, and plenty of towels, everything was thoughtfully provided.We especially appreciated having bikes available to explore the area, and the location couldn’t be better there were great local restaurants are just minutes away. Every detail made our stay comfortable and fun. Bailey Cottage is a gem and we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic! The house was great on all levels. The spaces, amenities, kitchen and design (I usually don’t comment on design), clean. The host was very responsive to a few questions and solved an “operator” issue for us. We all were together here for the evenings, six plus one 7 month old very comfortably and had a great time. Kitchen was very well equipped, and we used it more than we usually do. With our son and DOL and soon a grand daughter in St. Marys/Kingsland, we will be staying here again! The weather was not cooperative this time; but I look forward to a cup of coffee on the porch. Thanks Heather!
