'PELEE SHORES' Point Pelee Lakefront Cottage de vacances

Le chalet «Pelee Shores» est situé sur la rive ouest de la pointe Pelée, sur le lac Érié, et il est parfaitement situé pour profiter des couchers de soleil spectaculaires tout au long de l'été. Construit au début des années 1920, ce cottage dégage beaucoup de charme et de caractère. Le mobilier et les installations modernes complètent le décor avec tout le confort et les équipements attendus. Les rénovations de la cuisine et de la salle de bain récemment terminées, ainsi que l'aménagement paysager extérieur, le patio et la terrasse, complètent le style du chalet. 1 chambre Queen et salle de bain complète à l'étage principal, 2 chambres doubles avec salle de bain complète Jack 'n' Jill à l'étage supérieur. Le parc national de la Pointe-Pelée est également à une courte distance en vélo, à seulement quelques minutes à pied de plusieurs excellents restaurants, bars, golf de championnat et belle marina de Leamington, parc riverain, plage et amphithéâtre. Attrapez le ferry à l'île Pelée pour une journée amusante à visiter la cave, les restaurants et les plages. Printemps et automne La saison des oiseaux est parfaitement capturée à partir d'ici le long de la route migratoire principale pour des centaines d'oiseaux chanteurs, oiseaux aquatiques et oiseaux de proie majestueux. Beaucoup d'activités pour les enfants aussi, seulement une courte promenade au mini-golf, go-carts, parc aquatique, terrains de jeux et plus encore. ou Détendez-vous simplement au soleil ou à l'ombre à la pulsation rythmique du lac qui se lave contre le mur de rupture Armor-stone à seulement quelques pieds de votre hamac. Profitez de la brise du lac et des couchers de soleil incroyables depuis le pont ou de l'intérieur de la véranda avec de nouvelles fenêtres du sol au plafond. This is the perfect location. Very quiet but close to restaurants and shops. And lots of boat traffic and birds to observe. A deck facing the lake that you never want to leave.

Great vacation spot

This is my second time at this house. The house is beautiful and clean, everything you need is there. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset. Parks and beaches within biking or walking distance. A lot of nice local restaurants.

This cottage was so lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the Lake Erie view was spectacular. The owners thought of pretty much everything a family could want or need. We really enjoyed our time there.

Home away from home

A Great Lake front view to enjoy all day to sunset. All the amenities you could want are there with plenty of space for everyone to be together or do your own thing. A great choice to vacation!

Beautiful, clean and relaxing spot

Our family had a lovely, relaxing time here. Check-in was easy, and communication with host was very good. Everything was clean and comfortable!! The view from the back deck is beautiful, watching sunsets and storms across the lake. We had a great time in Point Pelee as well using the family park pass

Perfection

Can’t imagine a nicer place to stay. Beautiful decor, lots of windows overlooking the lake, a deck that was hard to leave and a sunroom that was perfect. Quiet both day and night, you would never know you were in a town.

This was our 5th year at the cottage. Our previous stay was in 2022, and we were hoping nothing would change as we booked it again for this year. Happily nothing has! The cottage is just perfect as is: cozy, inviting, comfortable, and oh so peaceful! We hope to return soon.

As usual we enjoyed our stay in this great cottage .

Lack of wash cloth ( there was only one ) and we were 6 and almost no dish cloth . We had to buy some at Walmart !

This is a beautiful home

My friends and I enjoyed staying close to both shopping at the grocery stores in Leamington and being close to Point Pelee for birding. The deck overlooking Lake Erie provided a great spot at the picnic table to watch the beautiful sunsets. It is a well appointed home with everything you need for your stay.

Wonderful!

This is our second time at this cottage. It is beautiful, well-equipped and right on the lake. Just sitting on the deck enjoying the lake and weather is amazing! The hosts are great and it is a wonderful place to stay! Grateful for this opportunity to stay. Also, so happy to be able to enjoy the Point Pelee National Park that is so close!

Beautiful Setting Inside and Out!

Wonderful cottage! Beautifully decorated! Close to Point Pelee National Park-grateful for the family pass. Wonderful deck. Close to the Ferry to visit Pelee Island. It is exactly as advertised. Very tranquil and comfortable.

A great time in Leamington

From renting this cottage online to arriving months later; everything went very smoothly. We were very pleased with the cottage and its location. Very clean and very well equipped. Lots of room for 3 couples. We would definitely rent there again. The hosts were easy to reach and were punctual in their responses.

Perfect week in Pelee Shores Point cottage

Beautiful house, confortable and well located, not far of downtown and on the lakeshore. We spent several 5 to 7 on the terrace and were feeling on the sea shore. Althoud we only had a few questions to ask, we found the owner very easy to find. Beau séjour dans un splendid decor

Absolutely nothing the owner didn't think of.

The cottage was exactly as pictured on the website, bright, clean, fresh smelling. We loved the kitchen which was well equipped with everything needed to make a family meal. All the rooms are a good size, (lots of closets and drawers in bedrooms), never felt cramped, with six adults, lots of fresh towels, great laundry facilities. Beautiful deck with lots of seating - fantastic sunsets.

Gorgeous home

I saw the pictures but still wasn’t prepared for the view. This 1920s home is situated right up on the rock bank of Lake Erie. The house is updated and very well maintained. The owners are great and have had a tie to the community there for a long time. The community has good restaurants and great views and is only 5 mins away from Point Pelle National Park. We loved it here.

Beautiful clean home and property, just as pictures show. Close to Seacliff Park, Point Pelee National Park and downtown Leamington, for beaches, fun and all your needs. House pass for National Park a bonus! Close to great local fresh caught fish at Freddy's and Birdie's which are must trys. Communication with the owner's is fast and easy. Can't say enough about this location and our stay. Glad we found it.

Fantastic Stay At Point Pelee

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage by the lake. It was well kept and beautifully decorated. The highlight of this cottage is the deck over looking the lake. We spent plenty of time on this deck enjoying the sounds of the water and soaking up the sun. The enclosed sunroom off to the side of the cottage was another wonderful addition where we spent time reading and playing games. Thank you so much Mark and Debbie for allowing us to stay in this serene vacation home to enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding it. Highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful summer home with an excellent location on the lake!

We've rented this property for 3 summers in a row now and thoroughly enjoyed it every time! Mark is a great host and is very responsive to any questions. All the amenities you could want are provided and the decor is beautiful yet casual. We love the quiet location on the water and the proximity to many attractions such as Point Pelee and restaurants, wineries etc. We like to take advantage of the lovely fresh fruit stands nearby. We have also enjoyed the bicycles, toys and games provided with our children and grandchildren. Thanks for another great week!

Always something to watch on the horizon

View from the deck is spectacular, sea birds, boaters, barges, viking cruise ship and of course the Pelee Is. Ferry coming and going multiple times per day. Lots to do on fair weather days in preserves, reserves, wineries, or just go to Pelee point to the beach, take your passport and trip to Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mi. on a rainy day. Kingsville is close and has lots of restaurants with varying cuisines. You cannot go wrong at this VRBO where the owner thinks of all your needs.

Birding lake house

Had an amazing time in this house. Every thing was clean and updated. Kitchen outfitted with more than I needed. TV and internet all available and had no issues with them. Washer and dryer available and had all supplies. Games provided in sun room, which also was great. I did not use the upstairs rooms, but the downstairs bedroom and bathroom had all I needed. The deck on the lake was perfect. Afternoon sun and spectacular sunsets. Overall a fantastic place.

Great location, beautiful property, with lots of room to relax and enjoy both indoors and out.

The location of this cottage is ideal, on a quiet street with an unobstructed view of the lake. The cottage itself is spacious, plenty of room for two small families. The sunroom is beautiful with floor to ceiling windows making it a bright and inviting room. All appliances, HVAC and furnishings are brand new and top of the line. Every room is tastefully decorated, and the whole cottage is bright and clean. Mark and Debbie thought of everything, including a few things we forgot like ziplok bags and a corkscrew. They were welcoming, helpful and responsive. We will definitely rent again. This property is the ideal cottage rental in this location, the only downside?... we had to leave!
