Our stay was so enjoyable!. The cottage was so cute, clean, and perfect for our get away. For those visiting Kirtland, it's location was perfect. It is tucked away on a wooded lot surrounded by trees and wildlife, but close enough to everything. Emily and her husband Matt were easy to contact with any questions or concerns. If I ever come back to this area, I for sure will want to stay here again.
This place is an absolute gem for anyone visiting the Kirtland or East Cleveland area! It is a small home beautifully renovated with style and grace--each room is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Several of the rooms (including the living room and kitchen) have beautiful views of the woods and a nearby ravine. The home is also in a very private area with several low-traffic roads to take walks on. Emily was so welcoming, gracious, and responsive--such a wonderful hostess! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we visit the area!!

First, driving down the road to the home was just awful. Ruts, pot holes that need to be filled. Glad we had a SUV because a car would have bottomed out.The house is adorable inside and out but the hosts are lacking in what people need while they are staying in their VRBO home. Firstly, there were NO hangers and the three closet doors in the master had no handles of my kind so you had to push one of the panels on the door to get inside and then push a second door so you had to push one to get it to join the ssecond door to get to the shelves in the closet. There was no dresser - a lovely full length mirror - but a dresser at least for us would have been welcome. The host brought 10 hangers which had to work because the closet hanging space was minimal. We also had to ask for an ironing board and iron. We had to purchase a wine bottle opener, and 2 wine glasses. We would have enjoyed having a glass outside but there was no seating even on the porch. The porch had a bench but no cushions and sitting in the bench required washing it and I was hoping to get away from housecleaning. The kitchen has a lovely pot filler but a large pasta dinner had not been planned. The microwave was so low I needed a pillow to put my knees on so that was a no as well. If I wanted tea I boiled water on the stove which is beautiful. There were no condiments left from earlier guests so I’m assuming there hadn’t been many before us. It’s cute but lacking in what you need to stay. BEAUTIFUL VIEW!

Thank you for your feedback - we're happy you enjoyed the home and the view. The house is now stocked with additional hangers, an ironing board and iron, a wine opener, and wine glasses. We've also added outdoor seating for future guests to enjoy. The road leading to the property is privately maintained, and we're actively working with neighbors on improvements. We appreciate your understanding!
