Pools are finally available after Hurricane Ian! This unit is a sensational condo at Sundial East (please note I am not part of the resort which is Sundial West). We have separate pool from resort pool, and I offer beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and other beach amenities for my guests. Charmingly remodeled after Hurricane IAN, with beach decor, these 2 bedrooms plus a den that closes off as a third bedroom for privacy. The main level has over 1,500 sqf of living area so one does not feel cramped as in most smaller units. A bunk bed, a favorite for children, in the second bedroom has two twin beds and one full bed. A large Linea with wonderful gulf views. Unit is handicap equipped and assessable. A spiral staircase leads down to your own private cabana which provides easy access to the pool and beach. Newly remodeled kitchen with new granite countertops, stainless appliances and fully equipped with nearly everything you need to prepare gourmet meals at home. The newly renovated bathrooms have granite countertops and tiled floors. Equipped with drapes and plantation shutters throughout for privacy. New flat screen TVs in every room. New tile floors in the living are and kitchen plus a washer/dryer in the unit. Large Master bedroom with a picturesque view of the courtyard pond and gardens. This unit also has a Pak'n'play for the infant you may bring and a tabletop highchair. I also have multiple contractors in the area to assist you with any issues you may have with my condo during your stay. You can read my reviews and you will see my guests are exceptionally pleased with my condo and the personal and professional service I offer. I recently moved to Reno, NV and I have a business (LGI/Laser Graphics, Inc.) in Minneapolis I started 25 years ago.

Yes the host was very welcoming and sent us a key to get into the condo! He was very informative from a letter he sent to us! The condo was very clean beautiful furnishings!
Had such a great time, condo is clean,amenities spot on. Great bedroom setup for the grandkids. Also, very private and quiet, would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
We had a marvelous time & Peter’s Place was fabulous for our get together. Beach furniture could use a little attention, but everything else was fabulous!!!
The rental experience was very easy. The condo was delightful and very well equipped. It was perfect for our family of five and made for a wonderful week.
This condo & Sanibel is gorgeous! Loved the location & super easy beach access & all amenities left in condo for use! . Just hated the no see ems! Those bug bites are awful & sooo itchy!!! For days!!! . Also bummed about not knowing the pools were not in working order. Otherwise everything was great!

My apologies for the pool situation.
Unfortunately, the City of Sanibel keeps denying the updated plans for the pools.
Also, as the crews try to blow out all the debris from the hurricanes, weak joints continue to blow out and the pipes have to be excavated to repair the water pipes.
The only drawback is the signs posted throughout the unit warning of breakage value; you break you pay and with a price of X. It made us feel uncomfortable. Otherwise we would definitely rent again!

Yes, I do have signs in the condo explaining how to use various aspects of the condo.
Many nuances of the condo are explained I want to keep the condo pleasant for all my guests. Sadly, a few guests do not care and hence the need for a few signs.
For example, No Smoking, use drawstrings to open and close drapes, how to use the washing machine, do not sit on furniture with wet bathing suits and suntan lotion, etc.
The signs posted are for the most frequent repairs that have had to be made and the costs associated with the misuse. These costs are charged to the guest’s damage deposit. Understanding the signs saves the guests money.
They also make it so future guests are not disturbed by repair technicians when things are broken.
These signs inform the guests to use caution and respectful of future guests’ enjoyment of the condo.
Amazing location, lovely host! The place has a bit of rental wear and tear and so many personal possessions that seemed uncomfortable. Not the ones needed like TP and paper towels. Had to run to the store for.that.
I would go again just know it’s not the Ritz!

As stated, the condo was renovated when I purchased it.
It is my personal residence, with plenty of personal items.
No, it is not the Ritz. The closet Ritz is in Naples
The nightly rate at the Ritz in July for 6 persons for a 700 square foot bedroom would be $1,400.00 plus a night plus taxes and fees.
I do not provide and endless supply of TP, paper towels, and other daily use items for one adult and her five children for ten days.
Perhaps after ten days of five children in the condo, the mother and the condo may look and be a little worse for wear.
The condo is completely cleaned after each guest departure
Any maintenance issues reported by the guests are attended to immediately.
Perhaps review all past guest comments.
We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and nicely furnished. Our big disappointment was learning that the listing showed a “heated pool” was non existent. There were no operational pools on the property. Coming from the north, our family looked forward to a heated pool. We would not chosen the property if we knew there would not be a pool. We were able to purchase day pool passes at a neighboring resort at a ridiculous expense rate.A partial refund would be appreciated.

I am glad you enjoyed my condo which I had completed over a year ago.
Noone is more disappointed than I.
I recently took my son and his family to my condo and were content with using the beach which is always enjoyable since my storeroom has all of the beach amenities for my guests to use.
Multiple plans have been submitted to the City of Sanibel and have been rejected due to new regulations.
All the materials have been ordered but work cannot be completed until the City of Sanibel approves the revised plans.

Nice place, renovations obviously done by owner or non-professional, need to open stove to open a cabinet, screws popping through cabinets, things like that. Not a major issue. Owner loves his signs. 3 or more signs in every room, no smoking, be careful of this and that, obviously owner has had problem in past but it is a little obnoxious

This condo is my "Home Away from home" and I live here part time.
I share my home, which is well equipped and functional condo, and has many amenities so my guests can enjoy their stay.
While most guests are respectful, a few each year, seem to be careless and inconsiderate.
1. The renovations for the condo were done by a licensed on bonded contractor.
2. I have a home warranty for my condo and all covered appliances and licensed and bonded technicians do the work.
3. I often have to spend half my time making minor repairs to my home.
4. The signs I have placed may seem obnoxious to you but have been necessitated by careless guests.
- Since I have placed the signs, which show costs if damage occurs, many problems have been mitigated.
- Since this is my personal home and different from a guest's home, the signs remind individuals of proper usage and avoids the guest from paying for damages.
5. It also seems smokers feel they have the right to smoke in my condo because they are paying rent.
I always encourage people should keep their eyes upon the rose and not on the thorns.
Our recent stay at this VRBO property was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about this rental exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and the thoughtful gestures made our experience truly unforgettable. First and foremost, the communication with the host was exceptional. Peter was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, making us feel valued and well taken care of even before our arrival. Upon entering the property, we were blown away by its immaculate cleanliness. It was evident that the hosts put a great deal of effort into maintaining a pristine environment. It felt as though we were the first guests to ever set foot in the condo. The attention to cleanliness provided us with peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. Furthermore, the thoughtful touches and amenities provided by the host truly made us feel welcome. Our only complaint is that the pool(s) were not open but the host has no control over that and at the end of the day we wanted a beach vacation anyways. We highly recommend renting this VRBO, you won't be disappointed.
We had a wonderful time in Sanibel! Despite an oncoming hurricane the weather was perfect….. sunny and warm. Just what we wanted. The condo was very nice and clean. Lots of room for the four of us. The owner had lots of beach stuff (chairs, toys, noodles, etc.).
I’ve visited Sanibel 5x, each time staying in a different location. This property, by far, exceeds all other condos. The condo was clean and spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. They had starter supplies (trash bags, paper towels, towel paper, soap, hand sanitizer) and several other items in the bathrooms like razors, lotion, body wash. As well as items on the counter (sun screen, bug spray, after sun aloe). It was like give a penny/take a penny system. I used a few baggies but left the remainder of my bottled water and aloe for others to use. The master bedroom is HUGE! The bathrooms are nice size for a condo and the living room / dining room were open to each other with an additional sitting area that transforms to an additional bedroom (it had a pocket door). There is a screened in balcony and a patio below (also screened in - with a spiral staircase leading to it). There is a storage room filled with anything you could need to take to the beach. We used the wagon, chairs but there was plenty of everything. The owner, Peter, was easy to make contact with and he answered all my questions about the amenities the condo had.
The condo also had little extras I appreciated like night lights in the bathrooms and an ICEMAKER!!
It is very clear Peter takes great care of his place and maintaining it. So if you would like to stay here too, consider the people you’re bringing. I will definitely be back.

This property had exactly what we were looking for and was steps from the beach. Peter (the property owner) was fantastic, very attentive and provides so many more things than most properties, condiments, dish washer pods, sponges etc. We didn't need to use them bc we brought our own but there were kids toys, beach umbrellas, chairs etc for use. Will definitely be staying here again during our next summer vacation.
Overall great experience! Everything was fantastic. Location, access to the beach, rooms/beds comfortable and apartment was clean! Thank you for having things such as paper towels, trash bags, etc. We struggled in finding the list of things such as hair dryers, iron, fans, etc. Thank you for making expectations clear and easy to follow.
We love Sanibel and we loved staying in this VRBO. It is exactly as explained/detailed. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Peter was excellent to communicate with and very helpful with any questions we had and kept us very informed. Many amenities that you would not have normally if just renting from the resort. We loved the extras for the beach (umbrella, sand toys, wagon) that we did not have to rent additionally. We love Sanibel and this was the perfect place for us!
Peter is a fantastic host! We travelled with our two young children and enjoyed our time in his unit. We loved the easy access to beach and pool. He is so thoughtful and has so many things for his guests to use - beach toys/chairs, lots of kitchenware, high chair/pack n play, etc. We would definitely stay again.
Great beachfront location. Has a nice pool to hang out at when the kids got tired of hanging at the beach. The pool was never crowded which was nice. Close enough to the beach to walk back for lunch or if you forgot something without it being a hassle. Property itself is nice and provides many amenities that you would need for a family stay (coolers, beach wagon, beach toys, umbrella, etc). The property is also located pretty close to grocery stores and restaurants on the island which made it very convenient to grab essentials or take-out. Would definitely rent this property again!

Why they chose this property
I was looking for a place to spend away from the Minnesota winters. I am not comfortable with high rise developments and this building has only four levels with apartments on three of them and parking on the first level. I also wanted a place with an elevator, below building parking and easy access to the beach and pool area. This condo has been furnished to make my personal stays on Sanibel more enjoyable.
What makes this property unique
A spiral staircase inside my Linea leads to the first level and to my private screened in cabana which provides easy access to the pool and beach.
