This cute little , apartment, was exactly what I was looking for. All the amenities and more to use if needed. I did have to ask the host a couple of questions, & she was quick to respond. Very clean, which is always a must for us. Definitely will stay there again if we are in the area, & I would highly recommend. Thank you for a comfortable weekend
Our host gave us all instructions needed prior to check in. We're more quiet, secluded people so we didn't interact directly but everything was as described. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
This basement apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need. The bathroom has a wonderful large shower with a rain head that helps you relax. The apartment is large taking up virtually the whole basement. We enjoyed our stay in this Chicago suburb.
My husband and I stayed over spring break with our 2 kids. We have a toddler who was exhausted from the drive and host let us check in early. Love that we were able to use the laundry room. This place was what we expected and host was great at responding.
I had one of the best Experience in this property. Owner welcomed us and he is so kind they gave us early checkin. Overall the property is in safe neighbourhoods and everything is so clean.
The place was very cut and clean. The property manager was responsive and friendly. And they left snacks which was very much appreciated. But we did have a few small issues. One is that we could hear a lot of what was going on in the place upstairs in the evening. We could hear them talking, and the TV show they were watching, which had something loud that sounded like shooting scenes. Luckily this didn't last long. My kids were also being a bit loud, and I was worried they could hear us as well. Two is that it was a little too cold in there during the day (in March). You cannot control your own temperature. The manager said they would ask the people upstairs to turn it up, but that they always left it at 75 degrees. (I think to indicate they already had it up pretty high). Which led me to believe that there is not a split system, where the bottom level can be a different temperature than the top. So even though it may well be much warmer in the higher level of the house, the bottom definitely was not feeling like 75. So that is frustrating because I am sure the folks upstairs don't want to alter their own temperature either. And three, there was not a plug-in in the bathroom. Maybe I missed it, but I looked everywhere. I curled my hair in another room instead. Not a huge deal, but maybe worth noting for some people.
This was our second stay at this property. We loved it and had a pleasant experience both times. The host was so kind and accommodating. They knew we traveled with children--on our first stay our children happily slept on the couches--so when we arrived the second time, there was a second bed set and ready for us. It is the kindest gesture that we've ever received at any b&b.
Very nice basement unit but because it is basement & below ground the unit was cold all the time even when outside was 90.Had to have sweater or jacket on because of this
We came from Hawaii and stayed 11 days here. It was absolutely gorgeous. We had everything we needed! The host was very gracious, the area was safe and quiet and the home was just superb and clean. Free parking and Wi-Fi. You couldn't ask for anything else! We definitely will be back when we come to Chicago again. Mahalo Nui
