Beautiful brownstone in a great location of DC. We rented it for 3 nights, two families, 9 people total. The house was in a quite peaceful neighborhood with numerous embassies and a lot of great restaurant within easy walking distance. It’s close to the White House and the national mall if you want to walk (about a mile), but bike rentals are easy and there is a bike share rack right by the house. Plenty of bike lanes and easy riding (e-bikes) around the city. The house was great, clean and very well maintained. The kitchen and all the fixtures were new and of good quality. AC throughout the house. As you would expect, it’s a little warmer in the summer on the third floor, but there were fans in each room that made it more than comfortable. Parking on the street is allowed overnight, but signs limit day time parking to 2 hrs. The house does come with one parking spot but it is very narrow. We were able to squeeze a midsize SUV into it though. There is also a public parking garage about 50 yards from the house. We parked a second vehicle there and didn’t touch the cars for 3 days. The house is a short walk to DuPont circle (a block or two) where there is a Metro Train station that easily connects you to the rest of DC and surrounding area. Super convenient. Overall, great home in a great area of DC, close to everything. We would definitely rent again.
