About the property

4 bedrooms, 1 bath, 2 living rooms, full kitchen, laundry

Located in lovely Coshocton County, McKee Farmhouse was built in the mid 1800's, the house still boasts original woodwork, fireplace, and classic slate roof. Each room has its own unique style and provides comfort for our guests. The house has central air and electric heat. Not far from the house is the McKee Barn. A classic of Coshocton County. A porch swing makes sitting on the covered porch with a view of the barn, pasture and woods a relaxing experience.

Guests are welcome to explore the rolling hills, pastures and woods on the farm. A favorite hunting spot for several guests, McKee Farm is home to many deer and turkey. Please call 740-877-7270 if you have any questions or to make a reservation.

Remote and Serene

  • 4 of 5

The listing description is accurate on all counts. The great surprise was the environment. Although the listing and other reviews suggested it, they didn't prepare us for the fantastic feel of the property. The land, setting, animals, and lack of human noise were perfect.

The property is clean, well-maintained and the interaction with the owners was prompt and helpful. We recommend it for others. It was great for us as a foursome playing golf at Virtues (also terrific) every day and cooking/playing cards/relaxing at night. It would also be great for families with young children.

Peace and solitude, a quaint farmhouse, & amazing owners = BOOK THIS RENTAL! :)

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6, including youngsters, just returned from a short stay at McKee Farmhouse. We cannot share enough about what a wonderful visit we had! The quaint farmhouse sits on 230 acres of land, all at your fingertips to explore. The house itself was well cared for, clean, and comfortable, with lots of interior room to spread out. The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure that our stay was exactly what we needed- even going as far to run an errand into town for us so that we could continue to R&R without interruption. You will find staying at McKee Farm a treasure and a joy!

*Please remember you are on a FARM. Expect some bugs and be's just how it is- not at all a reflection on the owners or their care of the property. If you are a city person, the water does not have the "typical" well water scent. We brought our own drinking water, however, because that is what we prefer. If you plan to cook, bring your spices....though I imagine that the owners would do whatever it took to get you what you need. They are that amazing! :)

The McKee Farm a trip back in time.

  • 5 of 5

This was the most relaxing time we have spent in years. The scenery was breathtaking with the view of the spectacular barn and rolling hills were amazing. Our hosts Von and Carol made our stay warm and friendly, like we were part of the family. Hope to make this a yearly vacation destination.

Perfectly Quaint!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I absolutely loved it here, it was quiet, beautiful and felt like I was living in an Anne of Green Gables fantasy. We spent the evening blissfully on the front porch watching the fireflies. Would highly recommend this property. Carol was so sweet and worked with us through our crazy trip schedule.

Another GREAT retreat weekend!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd trip to the McKee Farm, what an awesome place. We had a group of 7th grade boys for a Bible study retreat and had a really fun time. The boys hiked through the woods, went sledding and snowball fights were a given! Von and Carol are gracious hosts and truly make sure you have what you need for a great stay. We will definitely be coming back again for yet another perfect stay! This place is beautiful, thinking about coming back in the spring with my family.
