Log Cabin & Outdoor Living Area on Water-5 BR- 4 BA-Linens Incl- Wi-Fi-Dish TV
Pebble Creek is nestled in the hills of Virginia in a small scenic town named Laurel Fork. The area is a hidden treasure holding breathtaking views of rolling hills, green pastures and meandering trout streams. Once you breathe the crisp mountain air and feel the cool breeze against your skin you will be hooked and drawn to its beauty- walking old dirt roads, crossing one-lane bridges, picking wildflowers along the roadside, and watching the deer as they venture into the pastures at dusk.
Our five bedroom mountain haven features a large log house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It overlooks the mountain meadows and Laurel Fork Stream. Complete with a fully equipped kitchen, wood burning fireplace, televisions, Wi Fi and a washer/dryer. At the bottom of the hill sits our outdoor living area complete with kitchen and sitting area. Adjoining the shelter are two bedrooms with 2 baths. A large deck adjoins the shelter lining the edge of the stream.
During the day, fish, walk or wade in the mountain stream and enjoy hikes through the woods and laurel. Visit nearby Olde Mill Golf Resort, Chatteau Morrissette, Mabry Mill, Primland and other local sites. At night, grill a fine dinner then sit by the campfire or on the deck as spotlights illuminate the area. Experience the beauty of this area one time, and you will want to return every year.
Words can not describe its magical charm. This is nature at its best! Pebble Creek is our home and a special place. Once you visit, you'll be asking to return each year.

About Connie Styers
Dylan and I acquired Pebble Creek in 1990. Since then, we've acquired more land, remodeled, built, re-built and expanded our vision. Today, the site is what Dylan claims as his crowning achievement. He was able to preserve nature's beauty and create a warm and inviting retreat. We currently reside in Greensboro, NC but escape to Laurel Fork every chance we get. Our family of three children grows as they start families of their own adding more generations of fun and lasting memories. You will love the simplicity and beauty this area holds. Our children grew up making campfires, roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories. Your family will enjoy taking long walks, fishing in the stream, going on deer runs at dusk and visiting the local attractions just minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We decided to open our home to you, our guests, so you can create lasting memories for your family.

Beautiful, Relaxing Getaway Location
My husband and I were married here in 2017, so this property holds a special place in our hearts. This trip was for our one year anniversary and it could not have been more wonderful. We stayed in the lower house (or the "shelter"). We prepared all our meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged on the deck by the creek, took walks around the property, and overall just really enjoyed our peace and quiet and privacy. Connie has always been quick to get back to us whenever we had a question and is always super helpful and accommodating. Highly *highly* recommend this property. ❤
Perfect Feburary Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. Connie was very helpful in providing things to see and do. This home is located on 11 acres and on a mountain steam. This would be a great location in the summer months. Access off the main road is not paved so go slow. This is a very private location. We enjoyed a fire every night sipping on the libations we purchased from local wineries and distillery. Floyd is a neat town to visit. We will return to this home and bring our grandchildren. Neighbors are very friendly. Thanks Connie for sharing your home.
Thank you for your kind words regarding our mountain retreat. It is welcoming to hear that our guests enjoy our home as much as we do. We do hope you will return and bring your grandchildren. It is a perfect place for them to run and enjoy the outside. Thanks again.
Perfect mountain getaway. Great views and plenty of things to do. Between the wineries and the golf course, Olde Mill, everybody had a great stay. We all agreed we would love to own this house, can't imagine how great it looks in the Fall. Definitely will be back
Thanks so much for your kind words. Laurel Fork, VA is a hidden secret with its rolling meadows, trout streams and mountain views. We even have tourist attractions for those who wish to leave the cabin (which is sometimes difficult to draw yourself away). Thanks again for visiting, and we hope to have you back as return guests.
Everything about this rental is fabulous. The location is beautiful with great views of the pastures and creek and the cabin itself is rustic yet modern, has plenty of space but feels like home. The host was very responsive and gracious. We will definitely be back!
Thanks so much for your kind words and are glad all went well for your special weekend. We have big plans for Pebble Creek as Dylan and I continue our work. We would love to have you back as return guests. I can't decide which is my favorite season- all have special qualities.
Wonderful Mountain Cabin
Our family of four, rented this wonderful mountain cabin for a long weekend. Upon our arrival, we found the cabin to be warm, comfortable, and well maintained. The surroundings are beautiful, as the cabin is tucked away on a beautiful wooded lot. A short distance from the cabin is a lovely trout stream; anyone staying here really should take the short walk to the stream. The cabin has a paved circle drive; that's really a plus when you have kids. They have a great place to ride bikes, or whatever. Inside the cabin there's wood throughout; its very warm and certainly fits the mountain atmosphere. There's plenty of room, with a spacious loft that sleeps at least 5 people. The kitchen is well equipped, and the wood burning fireplace was great - casual dinners by the fire added to the mountain experience. The cabin is located near several attractions; the Blue Ridge Parkway is a very short distance away, and there are wineries, and of course, roadside general stores that sell almost anything a person would need, or want for that matter. Needless to say, this is a great place. The entire family enjoyed staying here, relaxing, and enjoying the mountain scenery. I highly recommend the cabin to anyone, it's a great place for families, or for a couple looking for a mountain getaway.
Beautiful Mountain Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain cabin. It was picture perfect!! The place was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The place exceeded our expectations and the mountain setting was just beautiful. The owners were very nice to work with. Don't forget to visit Chateau Morisette winery while you are there. Very nice winery and good wine!
Thanks so much for your response. You were our first guests as we just started renting. We will continually be updating the home and surrounding property to make sure all our guests enjoy their stay. We are thrilled you had a great time and hope you will consider returning. Thanks again.
