Wonderful place for our family to hang out and be together while visiting Topeka. The number of beds and separate rooms made for a comfortable stay. Home was very clean and well appointed. We will definitely come back.

We stayed at this property in Topeka and appreciated a few things about it. The location was convenient, and the house offered plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. With a little more care, it could be a great place to stay.However, we ran into several issues that affected our experience. The home's cleanliness was disappointing — we noticed dust throughout the house and dead flies on the window sills and rugs. Some maintenance problems also came up, including a broken washing machine upstairs, a loose and hanging ceiling vent, and loose toilet seats in multiple bathrooms. The upstairs heater stopped working during our stay, and the master bathroom tub would not retain water, making it unusable. In the kitchen, the coffee pot wasn’t functional, and the air fryer hadn’t been cleaned.While the hosts made sure the heater was fixed, and a new coffee pot was delivered. This gesture was appreciated, and communication with the host was good. Overall, while the home has good space and potential, it needs more attention to cleaning and maintenance to make it a comfortable stay. I hope the owners address these issues for future guests.

Wonderful beautiful relaxing stay

The house was very nice and comfortable for our large family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in Topeka before and really enjoy the area and this home was a great location for us too. Brandie is great to work with and is always so nice so we look forward to booking with her again in the future.

Family Christmas

Perfect place to have a family holiday. Brandi was great and very responsive! We enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and shops. It was so nice having everyone together, rather than in separate hotel rooms. We would definitely stay again!

Great for families

We rented this property while in town visiting family. The house has plenty of rooms to fit all of us comfortably. The deck was awesome - perfect mix of sun and shade throughout the day and the kids loved the play set.

Perfect house for a big group

Worked perfectly for our group that was in town for an event at Heartland Motorsport park. The bedrooms were all very nice and the extra beds in the basement made it all work for our group so everyone had their own space. Kitchen was well appointed and TV area worked well for a movie at the end of the day.

This was a great place for our short weekend vacation. The main drawback was that the playground advertised was not there. We brought the toddlers in ready to go play, and there was no playground.

Perfect in every way

This house afforded us some much needed family time during a difficult period. There were 15 of us in the house yet we never felt crowded. Ample sleeping accommodations and plenty of towels, etc. for everyone. We needed nothing that wasn’t already provided. It was beautifully decorated yet had a comfortable “home” feeling that felt welcoming.

Could be great, just not

The property looked beautiful in photos and is in a great neighborhood. When we arrived, it appeared as advertised—but issues quickly came up.The upstairs AC wasn’t working, and temps stayed around 78–80 degrees, making it hard to sleep. I contacted the host, but responses took 12–24 hours and the issue was never resolved during our stay. A technician was eventually sent, but the problem persisted. The freezer also stopped working, and we didn’t get a response until checkout.Smaller issues added up: dirty floors on arrival, a chewed piece of gum and trash in the basement play area, and loose toilet seats throughout the house.This home has great potential, but the poor communication and maintenance issues made it a disappointing stay.

Hey guys, I'm Brandie!
I was born in the '70s and recently decided to slow down my horse show career to stay at home more with my two younger sons and husband.
In the past, I spent 42 weeks on the road per year, giving me lots of experience staying at vacation rentals while horse showing. This gave me great insight to understand what people want (or don't want!) while traveling for vacation and/or work. I've started this new chapter to help with income while I spend more time with the kiddos and I love decorating! So this really isn't work for me.
I'm a 3rd generation Topekan so I can tell you all the good places to go. I look forward to help make your stay in the midwest wonderful!

We have owned this house for a very long time. With it's great location, wonderful layout and super neighbors, we have decided to do vacation rentals rather than selling it. We have 3 children and our saving it for one of them someday. We love it so much, we just can't bare to part with it.
