The place is very cozy and family friendly. Highly recommend it as an off mountain accommodation. Close facinity to restaurants and shops, fully kitted out for home cooking as well.

Comfortable and cosy

The house was very clean and had a good view from every window. The owner was quick to respond to all the queries. We had a very comfortable stay.

Ginger Bread House Review

Check in was late, 4pm, which made it hard to plan for a long trip. We were given the wrong door code & wrong phone number on arrival so was stuck outside. Had to ask the neighbours for assistance. There was an ant problem in the property. Otherwise the house was comfortable for what we needed.

Thank you for your review. It’s on the web site check in is after 4 pm so the house can be lovely & clean . I did call you & l talked you through when you arrived. I just talked to the cleaner who informed me the ants were a one off & she attended to it. I’m glade you were comfortable cheers Lyn ;)

Very enjoyable stay

We loved staying at the gingerbread house. The second day of our stay became lock down number 6. Communication with the owner, Lyn, was fantastic both before and during this situation. We decided to lock down in the gingerbread house & had a great stay playing with the provided board games, cooking in the very well equipped kitchen & doing some lovely walks We will definitely be back!

Gingabread house getaway

We really enjoyed the stay.Very clean,well looked after house.Property manager is very polite and friendly and was on time with the check in. If only the house had air con it would have been perfect in this 40 degree heat.
