We stayed here two nights with our teens while visiting Vanderbilt university. Overall we loved many things about the unit but had a surprising disappointment. Location/parking: Great location near Vanderbilt and Belmont. Parking was in secured garage, with elevator direct to our floor. Coffee/breakfast available within one block.Cleanliness: absolutely immaculate and clean, among the best you find in VRBOs. No clutter, gleaming counters and floors, pristine bedding, appliances, and was well-stocked with DW detergent, clothes washing detergent, soap/shampoo/etc. plenty of towels, etc.Comms/accuracy: this is the one and only sticking point. The unit was advertised with a pool. We know it’s early in the season so we asked directly before booking if the pool would indeed be open and Chris said yes to our specific dates. On arrival we found the pool still closed for the season. When we asked after checking in about this- we got a clear bot-style reply that the pool wasn’t open for the season yet. When we replied that this was different than what he told us, the story changed to “oh-the pool dates changed.” That’s not accurate. We were misled and booked the reservation based on that. We understand Chris is just a manager who supports owners with lots of units in Nashville but this was clearly bait and switch. We could have been told no up front. It’s about expectation management and not “the pool dates changed.”So overall- great unit but misleading comms.
