Whether itâs looking after my own kids or preparing a warm, welcoming space for travellers, I love creating environments where people feel relaxed and looked after.
Before becoming a host, I spent many years cooking as a chef, and food is still one of my biggest passions. My heart lights up when Iâm in the kitchen making the dishes our family and friends love most: rich butter chicken, Cape-style curries, potjie meals cooked over wood fire, homemade samosas, and the traditional Cape Malay desserts that always bring people back for seconds. Sharing food has always been my way of showing love, so hosting guests feels like a natural extension of who I am.
I enjoy entertaining, connecting with people, and making sure everyone around me feels at home. Iâm also a gentle soul who loves travelling (just not long-distance driving), exploring new places, and learning from others.
