Set on a private 2.5-acre property, the home rests in a quiet stretch of open desert where mountains frame the horizon and Joshua Trees dot the landscape. A stroll around the fenced acreage offers an easy morning walk, and the surrounding dirt roads stretch for miles and are perfect for exploring the high desert at a gentle pace. Guests can also access OHV trails directly from the house—park on-site and ride out to Giant Rock and Johnson Valley without ever loading up a trailer.

Guests enjoy easy access to both Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree town within 10 miles, with the national park entrance just 16 miles away. A scenic drive through Pipes Canyon leads to Pioneertown and its charming Old West ambiance. The neighborhood is rural, serene, and spacious—yet only a short drive from local restaurants, bars, and shops.


Guests will have access to the whole house, the 2.5 acres of fenced in property and miles of surrounding landscape. There is a pool and hot tub, please be safe around the water. There is a storage shed that is not accessible.

The home is located down a flat half-mile dirt road. Any vehicle can access it, but AWD is helpful for exploring remote attractions like Giant Rock and Johnson Valley.

Enjoy freshly roasted beans with elevated brew options—Moccamaster, Chemex, or French Press—plus a scale, grinder, gourmet syrups, and creamer for a café-worthy cup. For something fresh, our citrus juicer makes it easy to press local oranges and try our curated juice recipes. Tea is also provided, along with a Fellow kettle for the perfect pour.

OUTSIDE SPACE
The outdoor spaces are where this home truly shines. Cool off in the large private pool—warmed by solar heating panels—stretch out on comfortable loungers or the oversized couch by the pool, and let the spa melt the day away beneath a sky full of stars, all with no added cost for pool or hot tub use. Nap in a hammock, gather around the fire pit for s'mores as stories unfold, and when the night grows quiet, turn the telescope toward the dark desert sky and trace the Milky Way overhead. Surrounded by Joshua Trees and wide-open desert, this is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and truly connect.

GAME ROOM
Step into your own cozy desert clubhouse — a space made for laughter, connection, and a little friendly competition. Challenge each other on the arcade games, rack up a round of pool, or settle in on the lounge couch for a movie night on the 65" TV.
There’s a piano for slow evening melodies, shelves of board games for unplugged fun, and plenty of room to gather after a day exploring Joshua Tree. Whether it’s family game night or a relaxed evening indoors, this space invites you to linger a little longer.

LAUNDRY ROOM
There is a laundry room accessed from the primary bedroom. Laundry detergent, broom and dust pan, vacuum and basic cleaning supplies are provided.

WILDLIFE IN THE DESERT
Our home sits in the open high desert — beautiful, peaceful, and naturally wild.
On occasion, you may see insects or small desert critters, especially if doors are left open. Rare sightings of ants, spiders, mice, or even a snake can happen — this is their landscape, too.
Most guests embrace this as part of the desert experience. If anything ever feels concerning, please reach out. We’re always happy to help ensure you feel comfortable and at ease.

PETS
We love welcoming well-behaved dogs. Due to allergies, we’re only able to host dogs at this time. A $75 fee per dog, per stay applies (maximum of two), and they must be disclosed prior to booking.
We kindly ask that you clean up after your dog and help us care for the home and grounds. Dogs are not permitted in the pool or spa, as fur can affect the filtration system.
The desert is beautiful and naturally wild. Please keep dogs leashed and supervised outdoors, as native plants (including cactus) and wildlife can pose a risk. Guests are fully responsible for their dogs and their safety throughout their stay.
