The city sparkles below this completely gated villa's private pool and hot tub just 5 minutes down the hill to Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Featured on TV, the ultra-private mansion opens onto a 18 foot floor-to-ceiling windows, vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and Designer Gourmet kitchen. If you recognize this home, it’s because you may have seen it on television—it’s been featured numerous times as a must-see luxury vacation home on shows like Mansions and Millionaires and Extra! Its ultra private surroundings and open architectural style make it one of our top California villas. Minutes from Laurel Canyon, you’ll appreciate that this gated property features parking for up to three cars. It also boasts a stunning courtyard, and a media room with surround sound, a high-definition TV, DVD player and cable. On hot days, take a dip in the private pool then relax in the whirlpool Jacuzzi—from both you’ll get to take in amazing sunsets and views of the city. Entertain friends or family at the outdoor dining area, complete with a grilling station. Inside, the living room is equally pleasing thanks to an inviting living room with a stone, gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, tasteful furnishings and sliding doors that lead out onto the deck. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream with Viking appliances and gadgets that include a blender, table-top grill and dishwasher; serve your meal in the open, spacious dining room that seats eight. A maximum of six guests can comfortably spend the night in this villa’s three bedrooms. The master suite overlooks the pool and features a large en-suite with a walk-in shower, separate tub, terrazzo noche countertops and a king-sized bed. All rooms have air conditioning and TVs, and the two guest bedrooms are equipped with queen beds, private courtyards and a shared bathroom. When you’re ready to explore, it’s a quick, five-minute drive to Hollywood, and just a bit further to get to the grocery store, fitness facility and dining hot spots. Amazing home!

My husband, two daughters and myself had the absolute best stay here! The home is beautiful and the view is to die for. Michael and Claire were so attentive and the check in process was smooth and easy. 5 stars!! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Perfection in the Hills

An amazing time had by everyone!

We loved the property. It is so well thought out especially for a family everything you could possibly want is there and michael who met us to check in and check out could not have been more brilliant or kinder. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Perfection

My daughters and I stayed in this house for a week and it made our trip especially lovely. What a wonderful, gorgeous, open, and beautifully updated and maintained home! Incredible location, amazing views, complete thoughtful comfort in every way, spotless, and so quiet, yet just a short trip to great restaurants, shopping etc. Even better than the pictures! We absolutely loved it.

LA Visit

This is an absolute must-stay home. It’s a private, beautiful mid-century with an awesome hot tub and pool and fabulous views. The pictures portray this as a gorgeous property, but it is so much more. Very well appointed with all you would ever need. The owners’ and manager’s hospitality was exceptional. If you are looking for a luxurious get away in Hollywood Hills, this is it. We will be back. Bob and Wendy

Ultimate Perfect Experience

I travel often and have rented many homes as I often am able to bring my family with me. This was a trip where I was able to bring my wife and 2 children. I could not have been more pleased with this place. It is in the Hollywood Hills which allowed for easy access to all my appointments and killer views....especially at night. The property was perfectly appointed and designed beautifully. And my kids loved the pool and Jacuzzi. We will be back. Soon.

Hollywood Hills - Exactly What I Hoped For

I am so pleased to be able to leave this review... not something I normally do. The home and the experience was so exceptional, I felt it was necessary. First, the home was lovely, very clean, quite comfortable, and I loved the kitchen. Second, and perhaps a key component of why the stay was so great, the host(s) and the property manager were a dream to work with. They were incredibly professional, accommodating, friendly and simply a pleasure to work with. Thank you for making my stay wonderful, and thank you for making the process of booking the property and extending our stay so easy. I would happily stay again, and recommend to friends/other travelers.

Heaven in Laurel Canyon

This house is SO much fun! We are three siblings who love music & history - so in addition to the incredible house (beautiful decor and the pool & view are stellar!), the location was right around the corner from 60s and 70s musical history. Close to fantastic hikes, Hollywood sites, etc. Nothing short of perfect!

Best LA home yet!

Our family comes out to LA from NYC every August and always rents a home. This home has been, by far, our favorite home yet. Where to begin? the safety of a private and gated entrance, the VIEWS as you walk into the home, the MAGICAL pool, the soft linen and beds, the endless towels, the convenient layout for a family and of course, the brand new kitchen. I can only wish I had a kitchen that fabulous and well equipped in my NYC apartment... Communication with Michael and Claire was lovely and Warren, the property manager was attentive and always available. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in LA from this point on...

Amazing vacation home

We loved our stay in this lovely rental home in a peaceful neighborhood. This home has such charm, from the gorgeous front entrance to the landscaping on the outside, with a fantastic scenic view from the Hills (both day and night). We got to see a beautiful sunrise in every morning from the living room and the pool area (if you are willing to get up at 6am or before) and experienced night view of Burbank. There are nice hiking trails nearby if you are in a mood for an early morning or late afternoon stroll. We really enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi during the day and night. As some of our family members have sensitive skins, we appreciated less chemicals in the pool. Inside of the home is beautiful and exceptionally clean. The kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice and clean. The hosts were so responsive on our several quick questions and we were in good communication throughout our stay. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back.

Lovely home with an Amazing view!

Mountain top, modern home with amazing view is well stocked with everything you need to have a perfect vacation. Our family enjoyed the pool and gorgeous view. The home is also steps away from walking trails.

Phenomenal

Rented this house for a family trip. It was perfect for our family and size and had everything we could have wanted or needed. The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking or catering. The layout is fantastic (open and accessible) and there’s lots of light coming into every room. The pool is heated, which is a huge benefit for kids. The washer and dryer are also especially helpful for a family. Overall, the design of the house is super cool! We had an incredible, relaxing time.

Work and Play in L.A.

Michael and Claire's Luxury Rental LA is the perfect backdrop for a California Vacation! This gorgeous location and beautifully decorated hilltop home affords amazing views from the glass walls overlooking hillsides below. You are conveniently within 3 miles between Studio City to the north or West Hollywood/Beverly Hills Flats to the south. The property is secure with a gated driveway that accommodates at least 2 vehicles. The kitchen is well stocked with top of the line appliances and all the accoutrements of a true chef's kitchen. The outdoor patios provide multiple areas to play or just relax either poolside or on one of the garden chaises. This is definitely a home that is well loved and maintained and can be your home away from home. You'll want to stay forever!...or at least one more sunset.

You will be so happy you booked this house...I WAS!!!!

This stunning home was all it promised and more! It is perfectly located, gated and far enough away to feel exclusive and close enough to everything you need. The kitchen is a chef's dream, more than amply appointed and equipped with top of the line appliances and finishes (we had to ask for the details on the counters - Gorgeous!!!). The pool is perfectly situated for both sun lovers and shade chasers and the fountains were such a special touch. The property manager and hosts were extremely attentive to every detail and every need. I could go on and on, but will just tell you, BOOK NOW!!! You will not be disappointed.

Staying at this house was like staying at a luxury hotel suite, but located in a GREAT location at the top of the Hollywood Hills! Very clean, perfectly appointed, very safe, amazing views, lots of light and open spaces, big kitchen, comfortable beds... .a great house!

We felt like movie stars!

We never thought we could live like this. This is what you see on TV, but it is even much better being in the real space. My family (wife and 2 kids) was able to come out with me (from NYC) on a business/pleasure trip. I've always stayed in hotels, but wanted something special this time because the family came along. First of all, the place is amazing- the proportions, layout and amenities, But it was also immaculate. The sunlight coming into the house was wonderful. And it was hard to get the kids out of the pool. It was exhilarating but also romantic for my wife and me. The internet was top speed, linens immaculate and it felt very private, especially being so close to the rest of town. Every question was answered for us. We figure this is what movie stars must feel like when they are being housed. We definitely want to return!

Exquisite property, wonderful hosts, sublimely relaxing!

Where to start? We had such a wonderful time at this incredible property. The pictures indeed do not do the house justice; it's even nicer and the communal areas (living room in particular) are huge and well appointed. The bedrooms are super comfortable and quiet - waking up there it was hard to believe the commotion of Los Angeles was going on about us. Michael and Claire did an outstanding job of welcoming us to the property (despite our late arrival on an international flight), giving us all the relevant information for the house and ensuring that our stay was going well throughout without being at all obtrusive. I can't recommend the property and hosts highly enough - it was without doubt the best property rental experience I've ever experienced. Thanks again - hope to return soon!
