Welcome to your breezy beach escape! Cayucan Bungalow 224 is a bright, contemporary two-bedroom retreat just steps from the sand and surf of laid-back Cayucos. With room for up to 6 guests, this playful coastal gem is made for making memories—whether you're strolling the pier, exploring local shops and cafes, or simply soaking up the sunshine with friends and family.

Inside each space, you’ll find vibrant, open-concept interiors thoughtfully designed for connection and comfort. Please note: the bungalows do not have air conditioning, but the coastal breeze and ceiling fans keep interiors comfortable year-round.

The living areas invite you to kick back on plush seating, spin a record on the turntable, or unwind with a movie night on the TV. Fully equipped kitchens with barstool seating make it easy to gather for everything from pancake breakfasts to evening charcuterie and wine.

Both bedrooms are thoughtfully styled with clean, coastal touches, and the bonus sleep sofa gives everyone a cozy spot to crash after a day of salty air and seaside adventures. A sleep sofa in the living room provides additional space.

Home Truths:
- There is no washer or dryer, but an iron and ironing board are provided.
- There is no air conditioning.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- There is no washer and dryer in the unit, and it is not available for guest use within the condo complex. The nearest laundromat is Laundraland, located at 489 S Ocean Ave., Cayucos.
- Please note that this unit is located in a shared building, and the balcony is not private or enclosed.

Parking Details:
- Parking is located at the back of the building and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Street parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

We missed the part where there are several sets of stairs to get into the property. Our dog was fine at the property. One bedroom is 18 stair steps down from the kitchen and main level. It had a ceil fan. Nice size room. The second bedroom on main level, still required several stairs to get to. Acess to that level from main door is 18 stair steps. No AC in a heatwave was uncomfortable as the townhouse not bungalow reached 85 degrees. No screen on the exterior door made it different with our dog. WE had to leash him to have the slider and door open to try and create a cross draft. THERE were silverfish, ants and other insects in the upstairs bathroom. The smoke detector went off on night 2 at 12:20AM. No smoke...woke everyone up...got it to stop and at 2:20AM...it went off again. We removed it, and discovered it needed to be replaced. Called and text after hour support. NO ANSWER! They did not respond to 7:10AM. Poor management ...good thing nothing was really wrong. Main level bathroom needs some paint. This place is fine for people who enjoy srairs and no AC in hot weather. Location was great for walking and view.
