On the 3rd floor of an 1800s brownstone, our sun-drenched living room overlooks Main Street, setting the scene for a relaxing morning coffee (on us!)

The apartment was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and a great quiet location downtown. Parking passes were provided, so you didn’t have to pay on street parking.The host was very nice and quick to respond to questions/concerns. They were very clear about the flight of stairs, but they didn’t concern us. However, older guests might find them difficult, especially carrying luggage.We would definitely book this property again.

Why they chose this property

Honesdale sits at the crossroads of the Poconos and the Upper Delaware River Valley, making the Loft a convenient home base for regional exploration. Lake Wallenpaupack is a short drive away and offers swimming, boating, and lakeside dining. The nearby river towns of Narrowsburg and Callicoon, NY are popular for their shops, restaurants, farmers markets, and cultural events along the Delaware River.

The area is known for hiking, kayaking, fishing, fall foliage, and seasonal festivals, and offers a quieter, more authentic alternative to larger resort towns in the Poconos.
