About the host
Hosted by Jael Hawkins
Born and raised in the Sacramento area, I moved to Crescent City when I married my husband Kevin, a Crescent City native. We have six beautiful and wild children together. We spent 13 wonderful years raising our family on the coast and recently relocated to Jacksonville, OR for a new career opportunity.
Still close to our families roots, we enjoy trips back to the area as well as offering our lovely home for guests to come discover the wonders to the redwood coast!

Why they chose this property
It was love at first sight the moment we drove down Critters Way! We built our dream house and enjoyed 5 magical years making it our home. The views and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to raise our growing family. We loved the rural feel with the closeness to town and all the places to adventure in the area. My personal favorite was stepping out the front door and taking a walk down the road, it's quite and serene.
