Njut av en semester i den lilla byn Seney i hjärtat av Upper Peninsula i Michigan. Vi är centralt beläget med många aktiviteter. Inom gångavstånd finns en lekplats och Fox River som är en känd för sin öringfiske. Seney Wildlife Refuge är 7 miles till söder. Cykel eller Kör 7 mil enheten genom tillflykt eller kanot eller kajak floden. Bike, kanot, kajak & ORV lägenheter finns. Vår skog erbjuder många vackra småvägar för ORV fans.

Vi är 25 miles från Lake Superior och den vackra staden Grand Marais. Besök bilden Rocks National Lakeshore, The Log Slides & Sable Falls. Munising är 35 miles away och erbjuder vackra faller, liksom Båtturer att visa bilden Rocks och olika skeppsvrak. Den vackra Tahaquamenon Falls är 50 miles away, men se till att du slutar att besöka Oswald Bear Ranch på vägen, och se hans 31 levande björn. Du kanske kan hålla en unge! Mackinac Island, och Big Mac Bridge som förbinder Övre & Nedre halvön, är 1 1/2 timmar bort.

Vintern är också en vacker tid på året. Seney är en central knutpunkt för många skoterleder. Spår gå till Germfask, & Curtis i söder och Newberry, Paradise och Tahquamenon Falls i öster. Spår i norr länka oss till Grand Marais och i väster är Wetmore och Munising. Vi har en av de bästa groomer Crews i Michigan och de är tillägnad att ha spår av tip top form.

Amazing, accommodating hosts!

The home was very clean, comfortable and well outfitted. Weather made our original booking dates notice. Elijah and Marcella went above and beyond to accommodate us by moving our dates. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and cozy

This house is an awesome place to stay while in Seney. The house is very clean, is well stocked with linens and the beds are all very comfortable. The host is very accommodating, because we were suppost to be on a snowmobile trip and there was no snow, he alllowed us to modify our stay.

Comfy and clean

We only had a quick 2 night stay but house was comfy,clean, nice big table for family dinners.If in the area again would return.Was nice to hear the whipporwills at night.

up vacation

Property was as described, Very Clean!! We were able to store 2 SxS in the garage as we did day trips to Marquette, Munising, Mackinac Island. We were also able to ride directly from the property to the atv/orv trails. We rode for apx 350 miles over 4 days of riding. Grand Maris was a nice stop. Andys the local (only) bar has quality bar food and friendly environment.

Couldn't have been better

This property and manager couldn't have been better. The place is very warm and inviting as are the hosts. We even had car trouble on the last day. Elijah, unprompted, came over and helped us for hours in 0 degree temperatures. Then towed us to the auto shop and had the vehicle road Worthy in the morning, while allowing us to stay a day longer than scheduled. Great place, great people!!!

Couldn't ask for more

Elijah and Marcella are providing a wonderful service to family travelers. We couldn't ask for more. The house is in excellent condition as are the furnishings. All the necessities are provided and then some. The location is excellent for anyone wanting to travel in different directions for a visit or in need of a sanctuary for rest. No noise. No traffic. Peace. Thank you for sharing your home with me, my wife and three young adult children. Outstanding.

Long Weekend with friends

Stayed in Seney with a group of friends we stayed at the Twin Pines it was everything they said! Super clean and perfect location to everything we wanted to visit!

Good Value

Good place to make day trips from. We went to Munising, Grand Marais, Mantistique, Newberry (Tahquamenon Falls) There's a great place 10 minutes away in Germfask called Northland Outfitters that does a great job setting you up with Kayaks. In Curtis about 15 minutes away there is an excellent supper club called Chamberlain. The bar in Seney was closed for remodeling but that looked like it had potential also. Great stay and visit. Thanks!

COZY AND QUIET

The cottage is centrally located to all the activities we were wanting to do on our visit UP North. It was quite cozy and comfortable and quiet. Loved staying there and would definitely return again!

A great Basecamp for our Up North vacation

The property was just as described, and was a perfect, centralized location for our trip to the UP. From the Seney location we enjoyed the Seney Nature Preserve, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Sault Ste Marie, Munising and Marquette, all within an hour and a half of the property. The house was clean, the kitchen well appointed. The garage was a large, clean, nice spot to store our extra car and supplies. The owners came and got our trash promptly when requested and communicated well with us before and during our trip. If we make it back to the area, we would definitely stay at this property again!

U.P. Adventures

Mu friend and I decided to take a trip to MI U.P. and selected this property to base some day excursions from. First of all, the pictures do not do it justice. The cottage is beautiful. No issues at all with check in and host was always quick to reply any time we had a question. Actually had an issue with a tire going low, but the gas station right near the property did not have a compressor. Contacted host via their business line and was told exactly where I could go nearby to get it taken care of. Cooked at the cottage each night we were there, either in the kitchen or on their grill. Even had a fire in the firepit on our last night! Wish we could have stayed longer. If ever back in the U.P. again,cwould certainly they to stay here.

June mini vacation

This was a nice place to stay so we could travel east/west/north/south to different site seeing locations. The cabin was cozy and the roku TV was nice as our first evening was rainy and most attractions/venues closed by 5pm.

We are a local family and we bought this house next door in case we need it for our parents.. We rent it out when they are in Florida. We also have a Auto Parts store and Repair shop here in Seney.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Seney is so centrally located to many of the Upper Peninsula beautiful sites. We are within 35 minutes drive of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, an hour from Taquamenon Falls, and 5 minutes from the Seney National Wildlife Center. Sault Ste Marie and Mackinaw Island are easily within driving distance. Fayette and Big Springs are also beautiful sites to see.

We are very concerned with the Covid -19 pandemic and our greatest concern is the safety of our guests. We have a air purifier in the cottage and when guests leave, we sanitize the surfaces and ALL bedding is changed . If you would feel more comfortable bringing your own bedding, please let us know and we not make the beds. You may feel free to bring your own pillows and sheets and other bedding.
