A sophisticated, galley-style kitchen boasts ample cupboard room, updated appliances, and a formal dining table. Sip coffee and serve brunch on the expansive deck to soak up the sun and sea breeze. The place was perfect for getting around town and easy access to the beach. The only thing we wish was provided was a map print out of the area and maybe some basic helpful hints about renting chairs, the bar/grill etc, and expectations for clean up.

Perfect for our family getaway

This condo was the perfect fit for our family of four!Our kids loved being just steps away from the beach and swimming pools, and the thoughtful touches from the host—like beach toys, board games, and more—made it feel like home. The property was spotless and beautifully maintained, serving as the ideal home base for all of our vacation adventures.The location couldn’t have been better—close to shopping and great restaurants for the nights we didn’t feel like cooking. Having a full kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer was a total game changer. Being able to bring home clean clothes made our return home so much easier and stress-free.We can't wait stay here again!

It fit our needs over all with beach access and the pool. It's tight with two adults, a teen, child and medium size dog so it would be extremely tight with four adults.

Annual Girls Trip

We’ve been coming to Destin for 8 years for Memorial weekend. This was our first time at this location. Loved the beach access, water view, and the ease to stores. Had to do a little recleaning but otherwise I’d stay again.

Stayed here back in June with my girlfriend. Absolutely perfect room for our needs. About a 1/2 mile walk to the ocean, the back porch backs up to one of the golf holes (the golf is a 9 hole, 60 yard each hole, course. It’s awesome) bring your own pitching wedge and a few balls, or use the ones in the closet.Kitchen and bed are great, living room has good seating. Unit is close to the town and main strip of Destin.No need to bring your own beach equipment as there’s a few items in the closet. Or bring your own chair at least, and a cooler. There’s a cheap ice machine right beside the beach, as well as a private little surf hut where you can buy slushies, lunch food, and shirts/hats. Also a decent restroom at the hut. Private beach for the complex too, and multiple different pools.Overall a 10/10 stay. We will be booking here again. Sad that there was not a gym since it was listed as an perk of this place. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!! We will book again for next year.

Charming

A very charming one bedroom townhouse. Very clean. Everything you need for your stays there. Neighborhood is charming. For locals are wonderful, especially jeff at the bar across the street. We will definitely come back in the future.

Just a few things that need attention

Bathroom door sticks very badly. Front screen door does not stay shut unless locked. Toilet runs. The bedroom TV does not get channels missing hdmi cable and the washer had water sitting in it that left an odor. Ice machine at clubhouse is not working. Front porch light is out. Nothing to spoil our wonderful stay. Just thing that need attention

It's all a lie I was suppose to be staying in a condo with a dock, were I could keep my boat. Instead I had to pay storage to keep my boat because they don't allow you to keep your boat there. Sandpiper cove is ridiculous nobody knows what's going on I asked security, they sent me to rental Management who then sends me back to security I just want to dock my boat. I also received a sticker on my truck saying they will tow it because I had half a tire across the line. Also they said you get three parking spots, lies . I will never book with them are vacasa again.

VIP INFO, DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON BEACH ANYWHERE IN DESTIN OR SURROUNDING AREAS. We booked this places thinking it was dog friendly but it’s not. The rental place “allows” dogs but doesn’t. Dogs are not allowed at the beach, by the pool, or on the golf course which is woven everywhere in between the condos so there are only like 2 foot areas dogs are allowed and on the hot asphalt road. The rental itself was subpar slightly outdated. The fire alarm was beeping when we arrived and there were no batteries to replace it. The remote batteries were also dead to the tv in the bed room. The couch wasn’t very clean and had something all over it that was rough and pokey. The beach is super close which was nice and the pools were amazing. This places is “dog friendly” if your just wanting to keep your dog cooped up in side all day. Overall I give the rental a 3.5. Just know destin isn’t dog friendly.

Overall great condo

Overall, this is a great little condo. It was small but worked perfect for myself, my wife and our two teen boys. There were a couple of things that need to be taken care of: The washer smells really bad and leaves that smell on your clothes. There were some stains on the throw pillows that were unbecoming as well. There wasn’t any extra toilet paper, only one roll. I don’t know if that is standard with these rentals but it would have been nice to know before running out. We did have some really noisy people above us. The only other issue we had was parking! If you stay out a little later (after 10pm) good luck finding a spot anywhere near your condo. That was super frustrating. We did love the beach access. From the front porch of this condo to the beach was almost half a mile walk. Not far at all. And the private beach is SO worth it. We did that walk a few times a day and it was lovely. Sandpiper Cove is a beautiful little community in the heart of Destin. We loved our stay and will be back next summer for sure! We will most likely find a bigger condo for next time but 1042 was overall a good place for us this week. I give it a 9/10.

Our stay was amazing. The unit is super nice, clean, quiet, and cozy! We loved the convenience of having the restaurant on site and the amenity of having a kitchenette to prepare light breakfast in the mornings. We would definitely rent this again!
The patio is very nice, it’s a wonderful breakfast spot!
