The Space:

Part of the exclusive Nordic Villas cluster of private beach homes, the Viking is a modern and comfortable beach house offering a luxury experience. Its striking silhouette showcases the many windows, allowing guests to enjoy views of the beach from every room. Guests enjoy luxurious bathrooms and a modern upgraded kitchen with two dishwashers and space to address the needs of large parties. This home features high, vaulted ceilings, attractive decor and furnishings, and lots of space for everyone to move around in. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light which increases the sense of space within the home.



With six large bedroom suites featuring king beds and newly renovated baths, the Viking has plenty of privacy and space for everyone to enjoy a relaxing stay. The kids will enjoy the lower-level bunk room that sleeps five and has its own living room and mini kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave, plus access to the beach. The Viking also has a loft which provides extra living space on its own level, as well as two additional bedrooms and a full bath. Every room has a view of the white sandy beaches. Simply put, comfort abounds here, and if you are coming for a beach wedding, a family reunion, or a long-overdue getaway with old friends, the Viking will deliver on all counts.



The Nordic Villas cluster is a private, gated community of seven homes (eight vacation rentals total), featuring two private pools, four large charcoal grills with seating areas and a gas fire pit, generous parking areas, carefully maintained grounds and plantings, and boardwalks from all homes to the beach. Each pool includes a large lounge area with plenty of seating. Leave the crowds behind and come enjoy this Orange Beach vacation oasis!

Plenty of space. Great beach views and access to beach and pool. Cleanliness in bathrooms should be better. Blankets on beds should be better quality. One dining room chair broke when guest sat in it for dinner. Would be nice if home had beach chairs available for guests.

Location!

Perfect location right on the gulf. Lots of space for our group we could all be together but have our own space as well. Lotstforrunners/walkers/cyclists.

A special vacation that was negatively impacted by an incredibly dirty house

This is a beautiful property that has not been well-tended for seemingly some time. A party we read about online who stayed in December complained about the dirtiness of the house, and the response from management online was a thank you and a promise to look into it/take care of it. This was clearly lip-service as it was terribly dirty and bug-ridden, with thick long-standing dirt when we arrived. Dishes and kitchen drawers were filthy and needed a washing and wiping of all by us, the guests, before being used. Floors were dirty and paper, kleenexes, etc. were behind furniture. Bathrooms seemed newer (possibly more recently renovated since the last hurricane) and were better than the common areas. There was a musty smell in the house, especially downstairs and in one of the closets (water/mildew in walls since storm?). Fans were caked with dust and stoppers were missing from drains. The oven was the worst. A dryer door was busted. I could go on. Cleaning fees and required liability waivers seem to have no meaning. The property manager was fair and communicative in the second half of our stay and finally was able to help us ... unfortunately too little too late for Vacasa and VRBO. All was very disappointing for a long-anticipated special reunion trip among old friends.
