Outdoor shower, pool maintenance by the owner/gardener. Parking on the premises. Shop 1 km, supermarket 1.2 km, restaurant 1 km, bus stop 1 km. Nearby attractions: Parc Ornithologique 9 km, Coulon (Marais Poitevin) 21 km, La Rochelle 42 km, Ile de Ré 50 km, Fouras (Ile d'Aix) 55 km, Ile d'oléron 70 km. Hiking paths: Chemin de Halage, Marais.

Maison de caractère très agréable. Au vu de la décoration intérieure et de l'âge de la maison (construction vers 1850 il me semble), on se croit revenir dans le passé mais avec quand même le confort des temps modernes. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et il est vraiment à votre écoute en cas de problème.On a apprécié, surtout en ce moment avec les fortes chaleurs, la grande piscine avec un sympathique coin apéro au bord. En conclusion, je recommande ce gîte pour son calme et son originalité.

Zeer groot huis, van alles voorzien

Prachtige, geheel omheinde tuin. Een speelparadijs voor honden. Mooi huis dat door alle attributen wel op een klein museum lijkt. Vriendelijke eigenaar, tevens buurman, die wel eens in de tuin komt voor tuinwerkzaamheden maar waar je geen last van hebt. Klein minpuntje, het grote zwembad is deels overkapt. Een prima lokatie waar wij hebben genoten. A. en R.

Better Than It Looks In The Photos !

Just returned from a weeks stay. The house is so much better that it shows in the photos. The pool area is spacious and has electric blinds around the seating area as well as an electric canopy to add shade. The pool is half covered but this didn’t really make any difference to enjoying the pool. The house is huge! It has everything and more than you would need for a holiday. There is a supermarket 5 minutes drive, as well as a local market twice a week in the village. Will be back one day!

four very different adults concluded that this was probably the best house we ever stayed at in france. we have been holidaying in different parts for many , many years. utterly charming, secluded yet within reach of a cup of bar/bistro coffee. thank you Christophe and family for your discreet care and attention. if you are tempted to book this - DONT HESITATE !

EEN AANRADER!!!!

Met 5 volwassenen hebben wij 2 weken in dit schitterende huis vakantie mogen vieren. Al ruim 20 jaar huren wij huizen in Frankrijk maar dit huis sprong er echt uit. Een kruising tussen een vakantiehuis en een museum. Super groot, uitzonderlijk schoon, zeer veel vrijheid, prachtige kamers, geweldig buitenverblijf en zwembad, en een geweldige ontvangst door de broers C. en B. M. . Het genot van de rust in, en om het huis was heerlijk. Bedankt Christophe en Buno en wellicht tot ziens
