Renting the full property gives exclusive access to three villas with private pools, three king suites with chukum bathtubs, and a rooftop jacuzzi. A refined retreat for up to twelve guests, steps from a serene, lesser-known beach.



The Space:

Compartir unfolds as a single architectural composition shaped by guanacaste wood, soft stone and open-air transitions. The property includes six independent units that flow together with calm and intention. The three villas are arranged across two levels: you enter through the upper floor, where a simple, thoughtfully furnished kitchen and a living area connect to the rooftop terrace. Descending to the lower level, each villa reveals a king bedroom with an open-air shower and a private pool framed by greenery and shifting light.



The three king suites continue this sense of crafted intimacy. Two suites open onto a shaded zen garden where water and shadows move throughout the day, while the upper suite sits independently with direct access to the rooftop jacuzzi. All suites feature king beds, chukum bathtubs and warm, minimalist interiors.



Throughout the property, sculptural pieces and paintings by Oaxacan artist Manuel Miguel add emotional depth. His work—centered on the sea, duality and the creatures that inhabit it—infuses Compartir with a symbolic narrative that complements its architecture and natural surroundings.



The entire space is designed for slowness, privacy and visual harmony.



Guest Access:

Your group has exclusive use of the entire property, including the rooftop jacuzzi, pergola terrace with bar counter (for your own drinks and meals), gardens, pathways, villas and suites. Daily housekeeping is included and performed between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Motorcycle parking only. No chef service available.

La Barra is the next chapter of Puerto Escondido: a coastline of design-forward homes, contemporary architecture and open landscapes. It is quieter and more contemplative than La Punta, yet only a 10-minute drive from its restaurants and nightlife. An 8-minute walk brings you to a wide, peaceful beach that feels naturally private.



Getting Around:

Motorized transportation is essential in La Barra. Taxis, private drivers or motorcycle rentals are the most common options. The area is known for its safety, and the exterior of the property is supported by CCTV to maintain a calm environment.
