Positives : You are up in the trees! It's a very meditative space. We enjoyed our time here. Many records, books, a large tv. Gorgeous neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Great bathrooms. Clean. Nice outdoor space. Could improve: no microwave. Stairs to get to it are steep, not for anyone mobility challenged. It could use a welcome book with wifi code and passwords and other details, restaurant suggestions. The stairs to the basement are steep. Overall, Great for a getaway in the city.

It’s a very cute place, but understand that it is located in one of the older hillside neighborhoods in Seattle that has winding narrow streets that aren’t on a grid pattern. Therefore access to the unit is ONLY via a staircase between 38th and Newport. The gate to the yard is roughly 80 steps from the bottom or 50 from the top. Parking for a large vehicle is easier at the bottom, while the designated parking spot at the top is at the narrow cul-de-sac end of 38th, between two other residents’ cars, in front of a motorcycle. The house itself is cute, and well appointed. Excellent choices of coffee and tea. Though, finding the right light switches to turn on lights in the entryway and living room is enigmatic. The second bed is downstairs and private with its own bathroom but is a convertible couch. It was fun to have the neighborhood raccoons scamper across the downstairs porch.
