This 1904 Queen Anne style home is located in a quiet, kid friendly neighborhood in the affluent North Admiral neighborhood of West Seattle.

Walking distance to shops, café’s, restaurants and public library. Beautiful walks to downtown and Puget Sound vistas. Plenty of on-street parking. Comfortable outside front porch living space and beautiful backyard with deck & BBQ.

Please note that our cancellation policy is RELAXED (100% refund 14 days before check-in, 50% refund 7-14 days before check-in. Otherwise, no refund). We advise on purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected emergencies or acts of God.

This beautiful early-1900s Queen Anne-style home was the perfect home base for our family as we wrapped up a multi-week Alaska adventure before heading home.Our group included a family of four and two grandparents, and the house gave everyone plenty of space to relax and recharge. It was well appointed, comfortable, and had everything we needed during our stay.The location was a huge highlight. We were able to walk along Alki Beach at low tide, where we found sea glass and explored all kinds of tidal wildlife and critters. At the same time, we were close enough to Seattle to easily enjoy the classic tourist stops, including Pike Place Market, the Gum Wall, and the rest of downtown.There were also plenty of great food options nearby. Overall, this was a perfect choice for our group and a wonderful way to finish an incredible trip. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a wonderful home to stay it. We loved the home, the views and the neighborhood. The water taxi was a great way to get over to downtown. There was plenty of street parking. The kitchen dining and living room made a very open gathering area for our family. We will definitely stay here again. We loved the cat who visited us on the back deck each morning LOL!

The Big Blue House was perfect for meeting up with my daughter and grandaughter. It had everything we needed with an Excellent location. The best view ever! Saw fireworks after the Seahawks won the Super Bowl from several windows. We sat outside on the lovely covered porch with a million dollar view. Great host and manager! Thank you.

The house was just as grand and beautiful as the pictures show. Two large and comfortable living room areas with lots of light and beautiful views of Seattle and Puget Sound. The kitchen was perfect as was the location, very close to the water taxi to downtown and great restaurants and shopping. We didn't want to leave.

While back-packing around Europe in 1994, I worked a summer on the island of Mykonos where I met Nick, my husband. Nick was born and raised in San Jose, CA and went to school on the East Coast in Rhode Island. We married and settled in Seattle in 1997 and raised our 3 children in this home. In 2012 we relocated to San Jose, CA. Seattle and this home have a special place in our hearts which is why we like to share it with guests so they too can experience just how special it is.
