Enchanting Historic Merryweather Mansion
Built in 1904 this award winning bnb is a show stopper! You'll be in awe by all the period antiques and details. This home has been lovingly and accurately restored for guest comfort all while maintaining historical integrity. Minutes from downtown Duluth and the stunning Lake Superior waterfront. We even have a speakeasy! Shh! We also do afternoon tea.
Merryweather Inn is located close to the stuff: Canal Park, local shops, restaurants, breweries, and scenic lakefront trails are all just a short drive-or walk, if you can make it uphill.

My stay at the carriage house at the Merryweather Inn was lovely. The unit is very clean and comfortable. I felt safe as a single traveler. Communication with the host was excellent. I loved the historic charm with the crown moldings, and the beautiful colors painted throughout. There is a staircase needed to climb with all of your luggage, so pack light! The location is easy to find, and also a short drive to canal park and other areas of Duluth. Easy on street parking in a nice neighborhood . Thank you for the unique place to vacation!

This historic neighborhood is close to downtown and canal park. It's where all the old rich folks lived back in the day. Many different types of architecture and nice walking areas.
