New to short term rental market - we are experienced hosts with multiple properties.
Your Cape San Blas adventure begins at this 2-bedroom townhome in the wonderful Barrier Dunes beach community located at the end of Cape San Blas and within walking or biking distance to T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Our unit is conveniently located adjacent to the tennis and pickleball courts and the small pool and 250 steps to the beach; a short walk. Each bedroom features a King size bed and a full bathroom, as well as a smart Roku TV; one is 40” the other is 50”
Guests can unwind in the comfortable living room with a sectional sofa and a 65” smart Roku TV. The sofa converts to a twin sofa bed for extra capacity. With separate upstairs and main level HVAC control this townhome stays comfortable no matter the season. Also, the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped; we try to think of everything you might need. We also have a small desk in case you plan to keep up with work while on your break. And the deck is a great space to begin or end your day.
Whether you’re relaxing after a day of exploring at the park, quaint Port Saint Joe, or enjoying the beach, this retreat offers everything you need. Our place will help you feel at home while visiting this special part of Florida’s Forgotten Coast. Up to two small to medium size dogs are welcome… non-refundable pet fee applies.

Hi. We are Alan and Beth Ramspeck - owners and hosts of Prince Oswald’s Beach Retreat. We live in Cumming, GA and have five children, two dogs, and two cats. We are experienced hosts with properties in Athens, Georgia (home of UGA - go dawgs!), Tiger, GA, and our beach homes on Cape San Blas. We love hosting guests to our properties!
Why they chose this property
We have been vacationing in Barrier Dunes with the family for the past 15 years. We love that it’s off the beaten path, but with Port Saint Joe, and Appalachicola nearby. The vibe is great here, and the sunsets are spectacular. We also love taking our two miniature golden doodles, Ozzie (Prince Oswald) and Milo, to the beach with us. The stars aligned this year and we were able to purchase our second home here. We are thrilled to share it with others.

We use our home regularly. It’s not just an investment. We take great pride in the condition and having it well stocked. The two king beds are comfy and each bedroom and the living room are equipped with easy to use Roku TVs. We are also steps away from the tennis and Pickleball courts and the small pool and a short walk to the beach.
