    Nice home base for exploring Sapphire Valley

    Pleasant townhouse with balcony overlooking woods and creek, with access to courts, lake, hikes, restaurants. Very enjoyable stay. One of several houses rented for a family reunion.

    We loved how comfortable the beds were. Fantastic location on a private lot. Our family was stuck indoors due to severe weather most of our trip. It was cozy enough to stay together yet big enough to have space when we needed it. Would book this home again.

    A good time

    Ours was a vacation of three generations. The property suited us perfectly. The house suited our purpose very well and the beds get special kudos. The location next to the Sapphire Valley Resort with its amenities was a great big plus.

    Perfect location in Cashiers

    We stayed in this property for Labor Day weekend with another family. It was perfect for two families. There was a creek for the kids to play in behind the townhouse, playground + Sapphire Valley Resort amenities within walking distance. Canyon Kitchen right across the street and all other restaurants, grocery + lots of hikes within 5-10 minutes. We loved how convenient it was. We will be back!

    Book this place - you won’t regret it!

    Our family loved everything about this home. The location, the layout, the comfy beds and peaceful surroundings - everything! There is a beautiful path that you. A walk to get to the Sapphire Valley community center which is an added bonus. We saw several bunnies every day that we made the walk. Vacasa and the owners were extremely easy to work with and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ve been coming to the Cashiers area every year for over 20 years, this is our new favorite place to stay.

    House had a good layout for us

    Great location because it was close to our friend’s house. Layout was good for 4 ladies to give them their own space. Did not like dealing with Vacasa. I called for information about utilizing Sapphire and they were clueless. Don’t like that there was no advanced cancellation and fees that were the same as the nightly rent. It could use a little refreshing but we would stay again!

    Had a wonferfully relaxing and cozy stay!

    We had an amazing weekend staying out here in Lake Lure. The house is close enough to all the necessities and restaurants around. The lake was still closed when we went, but that didn't detract from our time. There is still some river fishing and tons of beautiful views. The house itself was very cozy, the tub downstairs is massive if you like to take couple baths & the kitchen is stocked VERY well for cooking, and honestly it seems even some baking! (Mix by hand only of course!) It'd be easy to stock up and spend your time just at the house. My one complaint is the water heater! It isn't great, but it does still get warm enough for a shower/bath, but just about that. There's tons of storage if you need to put up clothes or anything of the sort.

    Because of the devastation in western nc and the fact that President Biden has issued a major disaster declaration, I should have been given a refund for this trip even though I didn’t purchase trip insurance. There are some instances when common sense applies and this is one if them. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s office.
