HIGHLY recommend booking this adorable cabin! It’s nestled up in a quiet gorgeous canyon. This property was exceptionally clean and well stocked with so many kitchen essentials! We felt so comfortable our whole stay. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Close to Mesa verde and downtown Durango. There’s hiking trails in the canyon and even a small waterfall. It’s a great location I wish I could’ve stayed forever!

Quiet off the grid cabin with plenty of great views, hikes in the area ranging from easy to very challenging. The woodburning stove is extremely cozy, Starlink is great internet and the solar power will easily keep up with usage during sunny days; with a reserve of 3-4 days even during heavy overcast/storms.The free-range cattle may pay you a visit during the fall season, and you'll have plenty of opportunities for leaf-peeping right out the window.HIGHLY recommend the restaurant at the bottom of the hill, in my opinion it's the best in La Plata county.Whether you want to go up to Purgatory Ski resort, or head out to the desert to check out the Canyons of the Ancients ruins or Green Mesa National Park, this site is located at a perfect medium spot in-between. The host is friendly and very communicative.
