Escape to this charming house in picturesque Yankeetown. With two cozy bedrooms and a clean bathroom, guests will find plenty of space to relax and unwind. Whether you’re starting your day or winding down, the thoughtful touches throughout make every moment enjoyable. Built in 1927, with the original wood floors, the Crackerjack is a nostalgic home that is sure to amaze, but also provides modern day amenities most people can’t do without. From manatee and scallop seasons, to great fishing, hiking, biking, and kayaking, there is so much to enjoy here. Close to several boat ramps on the beautiful Withlacoochee River and 1.5 miles to the Gulf, you will be able to
enjoy all kinds of wildlife and beautiful scenery while vacationing here. We are also close to some amazing restaurants with delicious seafood, live music, and more. There is something for everyone to enjoy no matter what age or what piques your interest. Rest assured, when you retire in the evening, you will rest in comfort on fine quality king and queen mattresses with extra soft, high quality sheets. If the weather is right for it, feel free to enjoy the fire pit surrounded with bug repellant tiki torches. Feeling like grilling? We’ve got a great charcoal grill waiting on you. For fishing enthusiasts, we have a fish cleaning station and fish cooker as well. Need to wash clothes? No worries! The house is equipped with a brand new washer and dryer as well as washing detergent. Bringing the kids? We do have games, books, and there is a very nice playground within walking distance. The bathroom has as much hot water as you need, with a brand new hot water heater, while also meeting your needs with soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, as well as eye masks for extra relaxation. Upon wakening, you will be able to enjoy our coffee bar which includes a Keurig coffee maker, various kinds of coffees, teas, as well as all kinds of creamers and sweeteners, including honey. We chose Yankeetown because it’s such a beautiful, scenic area near the water, untouched by modernization, preserved in old world Florida. It’s such a charming small town with very nice people and just a relaxing place to be.
