Relax in this 2-bedroom house in Sister Lakes area. The primary bedroom features a king bed & a full bed in guest room. Queen sofa sleeper pulls out in living room. 1.5 bathrooms and laundry. Kitchen is well-equipped with stove, microwave, dishwasher, full-sized fridge and KCup coffee pot. The space stays comfortable year-round with heat & air. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring, kayaking, boating, reading or playing games, this peaceful home provides a soothing retreat. Enjoy all that Sister Lakes has to offer when you stay at our place. Activities are aplenty in the area with wineries, breweries, seasonal apple/pumpkin picking, golf, great restaurants, casinos and even a children’s museum. Chicago - less than 2 hours away, South Haven 36 minutes away, Notre Dame 36 minutes away, Detroit less than 3 hours. Come explore Pure Michigan on a quiet, spring-fed lake. This home uses a natural well water system. It is fully tested and safe, but it does carry a noticeable mineral/sulfur odor when running the taps.

The Scent: Don't worry—the smell does not stick to your skin, clothes, or dishes after washing!

For the best coffee experience- I would recommend bottled water for the Keurig.

We are big Michigan lovers. Many of our fondest memories happened in Michigan. Lots of summers spent here, we welcomed our first dog, - Callebaut (whom we named our cottage after), we bought our first home together here, we got married here and we look forward to starting our Michigan 2.0 chapter here.

Why they chose this property

While we originally spent summers on Lake Michigan/ Harbor Country area - we realized we didn’t want to lug our beach goods up and down 125 steps. Our friends introduced us to Sister Lakes area and we were hooked. The caveat had to be that we could “log roll out the back door”. We didn’t want to cross the street, drive to or find a public lake access. We had to be lakefront and we’ve accomplished that!
