Propiedad frente al lago en 500 acres Magician Lake. La profundidad del agua en la pared del mar es de aproximadamente 6 pulgadas y se hace más profunda a medida que avanza. Ideal para familias con niños pequeños. Balsa de natación disponible para niños mayores. Casa estilo rancho con aire acondicionado. Dos dormitorios y un baño con ducha. Todos los utensilios de cocina proporcionados. Debe proporcionar su propia ropa de cama y artículos de tocador. Duerme 6 y tenemos un bote de pesca de 14 pies (sin motor) y bote de remos según disponibilidad. Barco pontón de 22 pies en alquiler también según disponibilidad. Lo siento, no se admiten mascotas. Wonderful family vacation

We brought our 3 young kids for a family vacation and it was wonderful! Extremely clean, great location and very family friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will surely be back!

Right on the lake

We enjoyed our last minute stay at this cottage! The best part was having access to a pier so we could dock our boat. Richard had a place across the street to accommodate our truck and trailer. Even had parking for our guests to come up and enjoy a pontoon ride.

Great cottage just feet from the lake

We love coming and staying at the Lavato’s cottages. Rich and Judy are the absolute best! They couldn’t be more accommodating. We especially loved the screened in porch in this cottage. We enjoyed eating our breakfast, lunch and dinners looking out at the lake. We also love that they have a pontoon boat available for rent. Our family loves being able to go out on the boat to fish and to swim at the island. We have rented with them before and we are looking forward to coming back soon!

Great place on a beautiful lake

My family of 4 stayed here for a week over the 4th of July. The holiday weekend was very busy on the lake, however the lake houses provided a great fireworks show. The cottage had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The lake is clean (not a lot of seaweed) with a great pier. The water is shallow from the wall to the end of the pier (~ 20 ft). Great for small kids. There is a swimming platform a little further out which our kids enjoyed jumping off. There's no beach at the cottage, but Silver Beach is only a half hour away. The owners are right next door and are extremely nice and accommodating to whatever we needed. We highly recommend this cottage and would stay here again if in the area.

Good, Old-Fashioned Manners go a long way!

You don't find people like Mr. and Mrs. Lovato anymore. Words can't describe how amazingly down-to-earth and kind they are. They live on the property right in between two cottages that they own and rent out. They are very attentive to our needs but did give us our space as well. We really enjoyed talking with both of them. Their property is in a great location on the lake. If you're looking for an updated, uniquely decorated, modern property this is not the property for you. While their cottage doesn't have all of the amenities that you might look for if you're searching for a 5-star property that is newly remodeled, it was perfect for our needs. The absolute kindness and "old school" personality we got from the Lovato family outweighs it all 100%! You do have to bring all of your own towels and linens which is a lot for a larger family like ours, but it's worth it. The cottage is stocked with pots/pans, a coffee maker, a toaster, a toaster oven, etc. We rented their boat which was great and the Lovato's let us play with a lot of their water gear such as their paddle boat and kayak. That was a plus! We have already booked another week this year and 3 weeks for next year. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Lovato!

Life at the Lake

The little cottage was perfect for the 2 of us! It was well equipped and the screened in porch was a godsend at nite when the bugs came out! It was a restful week and we hated to leave! Rich and Judy were wonderful ans we were so happy to meet them. Can't wait for next year!

Wonderful Anniversary Getaway

Rich and Judy were wonderful hosts. The property is a beautiful little cottage just steps from your pier and the lake. Place is in immaculate shape and we have found a couple of new friends as neighbors there were also wonderful (Mike & Christine)... Wonderful trip

A great location right on the water. Rich and Judy were very kind and accommodating. Pontoon boat was fun for the whole family. Good fishing from the boat and from the pier. Kids enjoyed swimming to the float.

Quiet family vacation

Place was nice and clean. The TV has been upgraded to a large Flat Screen with DVD. Owner was very pleasant and even offered a ride around the lake on his boat. Water is shallow upon entry which is perfect for small children. Our son enjoyed the paddle boat as well. Charcoal grill is included with rental. AC works great. Weather was super nice during our stay. Cool in the mornings and heated up for lake time in the afternoon. Plenty of private parking for up to 4 cars. Was very quiet during our stay Mon-Fri. Town is 15 min away with plenty of restaurants and stores, including grocery store. Plenty of farmers markets also to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.

Excellent Property Manager

It was exactly as described, Mr. Lavato was a great guy. He offered to help us put our boat in the water if we needed help. He was always very friendly with our kids. Overall he is one of the nicest managers we have had over the year of renting a cottage. It is because of his hospitality that we are 98% sure we will be going back next year!

Perfect Mini Getaway with Children

Rich and Judy were amazing hosts. We had the best mini getaway. Their home was tidy and equipped with all essentials to make our trip relaxing. The waterfront was very clean and the lake floor was sandy. Rich and Judy made us feel like family. They explained how to use their water equipment and even let my children use their grandchildren's toys. They were beyond accommodating, and Rich even took us on his boat so that we could experience the city of Dowagiac and the beauty of Magician Lake. He also helped my youngest son setup his fishing poles and offered fishing tips. We hope to rent from them again in the future!

Fantastic hosts and great property

Rich and Judy were tremendous hosts. Available to help with anything we needed but also gave us our space. They provided extra toys for our kids as well as bed rails and other things for our little ones. The family and I really enjoyed the stay- the water front was great and renting the pontoon really made the trip. Great stay!!!

Amazing

It is a small cozy cottage. They had all the amenities and then some. It is really nice to be next door to the owners. We rented to pontoon boat. We went fishing everyday. We caught sunfish, bass and perch. We drive to a local brewery called the strand. It was very nice but check the days they are not open. We had ice cream at the driftwood. Beautiful view. We were there Sunday to Wednesday. The lake was not very busy during these days. We plan to make this a yearly trip. Thank you Lovatos for the memories that will last a lifetime with my son. Time is the most valuable thing in our lives and Time stopped for 3 days. Priceless.

Enjoyed our stay at the lake. Owners were great.

We really enjoyed our time at the lake. The pontoon that is available for rent was nice to have for evening rides. The owners are right next-door and are available for questions anytime and are willing to help out whenever you need them. We had brought all of our own linens Because we had read in the discription that there were none provided however Judy said that they will provide them for renters who are flying in which is good information in case we come again. We caught a lot of panfish from the end of the pier. We didn’t eat any of them, catch and release is all we do. The only thing that would’ve made it better is if there was a washer and dryer available as it is hard to pack enough clothes for two weeks and not have to do laundry. Didn’t want to spend half a day in the laundry mat So I did wash some clothes by hand. All in all it was a great relaxing vacation and we would rent from them again.

Great Time!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our long weekend at the home. Great location on the lake. Richard and Judy were both great, very accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back. If you are going to Magician Lake, you must eat at The Strand Brewery, Richard and Judy's recommendation. We were there two out of three nights.

Amazing Getaway!

First off. The hospitality that Rich and Judy had shown us was incredible. The house was immaculate clean. The boat was fantastic. Our week couldn't have been more perfect. We will be seeing you again next year! Thank you again from Tony and Kasia!

Magician lake /Lake Michigan

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay on Magician Lake. Our girls went boating for the first time. Mr. Lovato took us out for a ride on the speed boat and the look on the girls face was priceless! We only spent 1 day on the water because we came to Michigan for Lake Michigan. The Lovato's were very friendly and gave us recommendations on where to go. Our trip was short but very nice! Thank you!

Great adventure

This is the second time that my husband and I stayed there. Cozy Lakefront Home on Magician Lake is a great description. We brought four friends with us this time. They loved it as much as us. We are all anxious to return. The cottage is very clean. The lake is the best. We rented the boat and enjoyed swimming and fishing. Rich and Judy are very friendly and welcoming hosts. I give it more than a five star rating. You will fall in love with the area at first sight...Linda

The cabin was very comfortable for the 6 of us

It was a pleasure to share just few days with the Lovato family. The cabin is set up perfectly on the front of the lake so the views are just beautiful. Mr. Richard was very nice and he surprise our little kids with toys and kitchens so they could have the best time, that was very beautiful from him... and kids love it! He also did very great recommendations of places to visit includint the Silver beach that was just so cool and nice to be in. We will sure repeat a visit to the Sister Lakes!

What an Awesome Spot!!

My family of 3 (including a teenager) came in from Arizona to escape the heat and have our local family come play at the lake with us. There was plenty of room for us and all visitors including a dock to tie up the ski boat and a great screened in lakeside porch for dinner. We sat 9 on the porch to eat with no problem. Full kitchen and stocked with all the dishes and such you would need plus a charcoal grill out back for lakeside grilling. Rich and Judy were beyond hospitable and treated us like family. Rich even dug out a mountain bike for our son to use while we ran the area. Our son learned how to ski on this well sized lake. The homes and people we met as we explored the tree lined streets were welcoming and beautiful. Other travelers were cautious of runners and bikers and there was even a triathlon over the weekend on one of the neighboring lakes. This cottage is in a perfect spot on the calmer waters side of the lake and made for a great morning swim leaving directly from the back door. Frisbee, football, cornhole, running, biking, walking, swimming and all the water sports you can handle. You can stay here and be peaceful and relaxed or you can use this great location as a launch pad for some amazing summer fun!
