Beautiful home within walking distance to the beach and town. Had everything we needed and even a wagon with chairs and toys for the beach. Nice, large backyard that our dog enjoyed. Super clean home and the perfect size for our family of 7. Definitely recommend this property and will be staying again. 10/10!

House was a great size for 6 guests. Everything worked great and the hosts made sure the house had everything we needed. And a short distance to the beach and downtown meant we could walk to the beach every day

We booked this property since it was close to our wedding venue - it is truly a perfect spot! Walking distance to the beach, and to downtown St.joes. A quiet area and plenty of space for family to relax.

Location can’t be beat. Home is well kept. Upstairs got hot but host promptly coordinated installing a window unit and it cooled down quickly. Kids loved the train track and it turned out to be more of a feature than a nuisance! Would consider staying here again!

The property was perfect for our family! We have 5 adult children plus 2 of their significant others and a 17 month old grandson. The backyard was always shaded which was so nice for how hot it was outside. There were plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, spices, sugar, coffee, mustard, ketchup, etc. It really is a 5 minute walk to the beach and not much traffic. The owner was extremely responsive to all of my questions. Shops, restaurants and bars were a 10 min. walk. We would stay there again.

Nice getaway, very clean

This property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was located near the beach within easy walking distance. We would stay here again. I wish it had a firepit in the backyard, and we didnt realize it had a beach wagon and chairs for us to use. We had a great time!

Ideal Family Beach Getaway

Clean and cozy, home design allows for lots of room to spread out for 3 adults and 5 kids. Well supplied, very nice kitchen. Appreciated the thoughtful touch of a basket of books for kids and little kid size table. Quiet and peaceful at night. Loved proximity to beach and town, was always cool and refreshing inside! Great outdoor space on the front and back porches with sufficient seating. Convenient parking.

Perfectly located spot

With my parents being retired, this place is perfectly located. They are 1 1/2 from the Bluff and shops while my daughter and fiancé are 1 1/2 blocks from the beach.

We loved our stay in this house close to Silver Beach. It was spacious, clean and had good amenities. We would love to stay here again in warmer weather to enjoy the proximity to the beach.

Steps away from the beach and downtown!

Lovely location to enjoy St Joseph, steps away from Silver Beach and from downtown area. Beds comfortable and accommodation clean. Only issue could be that AC didn’t reach the upstairs, but it worked for our group. Definitely staying here again!

Great house and location

The property is only 2 short blocks to the beach (can see the beach from the corner the house is on), and an easy walk to the downtown shopping area. Was nicely set up and had plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 1 child.

COVID-19 UPDATE:
We are taking every precaution to clean and disinfect the house between guests. There will be no shortcuts. Every light switch, counter, fixture, appliance, remote control, etc., will be properly cleaned and sanitized.

This Lake Michigan Cottage is a wonderful beach rental. It's in a great spot-- A quick walk to the beach, town, and all the St Joseph attractions. Catch the Amtrak to Chicago for the day, if you want. Two queens, one full and two twin beds offer a great combination of bedding to fit your group. Please understand this is an old cottage but it's clean, comfortable, and easy to relax in. The backyard has a nice private feel to it.

Location. Location. Location. The house is below the bluff which means your toes will hit beach sand in mere minutes. It's great at the start of the day when you can stake out your perfect spot on the beach, AND when you're tired and ready to call it a day. Nobody likes to trudge back home at the end of a long day! Forgot the sunscreen on the kitchen table? No big deal, go back to the house, grab it, and come right back. Use the wagon to haul your chairs and belongings to the beach! Past guests agree -- you'll really appreciate this home's great location.
